    Abstract

Synthesis of FeSe superconductor was conducted in a variation of dopant stoichiometry Mn and Kl by vacuum and Power in Sealed Tube (PIST) methods at sintering temperature of 745°C and 845°C. This research is aimed to obtain the optimum stoichiometry variation and method toward the phase forming and superconductivity properties in resistivity to obtain the best material candidates for FeSe superconductor. The synthesis of FeSe superconductor with the variation of dopant stoichiometry Mn and Kl of 0, 1, 2 and 5 wt% were examined by vacuum and PIST by employing sintering temperature of 845°C and the addition of Mn 0, 1, 2 dan 5 wt% and KI 0 dan 1 wt% by vacuum at sintering temperature 745°C with 7°/minutes of heat rate in 3 hours. The results have shown that the best candidate for FeSe supercapacitor is achieved by 2 wt% addition of Mn with 845°C of sintering temperature by vacuum method. The result of the XRD volume fraction in the tetragonal phase found to be increased from 73.8% to 76.51%. The results of the cryogenic test shown that the Tc onset is 10.2K and the smallest value of ρ= 0.0206.mm which be identified as the best quality for FeSe superconductor material. Other than that, the SEM result has shown that its morphology seemed to be homogenous with less porosity present.
