dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to determine variations in bed variations and initial concentration variations on the efficiency of phosphate and nitrate absorber in artificial wastewater using a strong base anion exchange resin Tulsion A-23 type. This adsorption study was carried out using a fixed-bed column with a diameter of 3 cm and a height of 30 cm. The adsorption step is carried out by varying the bed height of 3 cm, 6 cm and 9 cm and the initial concentration (C0) of phosphate is 100 mg / l, 150 mg / l and 200 mg / l, while C0 nitrate is 150 mg / l, 250 mg / l and 350 mg / l. In addition, selectivity testing was done to see that Tulsion A-23 resin was more selective on nitrate or phosphate ions. The adsorption process is carried out by running a series of 60 minutes, 75 minutes, 90 minutes and 120 minutes. Artificial dialysis of wastewater with dire direction flow of downflow into the column at a constant flow rate. The results showed variations in bed height and initial composition (C0) in fixed-bed columns using Tulsion A-23 resin influenced the removal of phosphate and nitrate. The highest percentage of phosphate removal was 17.47% and 32.90% while nitrates were 5.72% and 15.07% for 9 cm bed height, C0 phosphate 100 mg / l and C0 nitrate 150 mg / l. Thomas model is a method that is consistent with the theory of fixed-column performance in this study. The results obtained from the selectivity test for Tulsion A-23 resin are more selective for nitrate adsorption.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi tinggi unggun dan variasi kosentrasi awal terhadap efisiensi penyisihan fosfat dan nitrat pada air limbah artifisial menggunakan resin penukar anion basa kuat jenis Tulsion A-23. Studi adsorpsi ini dilakukan secara kotinu dengan kolom fixed-bed berdiameter 3 cm dan tinggi 30 cm. Tahap running adsorpsi dilakukan dengan memvariasikan tinggi unggun 3 cm, 6 cm dan 9 cm serta konsentrasi awal (C0) fosfat 100 mg/l, 150 mg/l dan 200 mg/l, sedangkan C0 nitrat 150 mg/l, 250 mg/l dan 350 mg/l. Selain itu juga dilakukan uji selektivitas adsorpsi untuk melihat resin Tulsion A-23 lebih selektif terhadap ion nitrat atau ion fosfat. Proses adsorpsi dilakukan dengan running series 60 menit, 75 menit, 90 menit dan 120 menit. Air limbah artifisial dialirkan dengan arah aliran downflow ke dalam kolom pada laju alir konstan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi tinggi unggun dan konsentrasi awal (C0) pada kolom fixed-bed menggunakan resin Tulsion A-23 berpengaruh terhadap penyisihan fosfat dan nitrat. Persentase penyisihan tertinggi fosfat 17,47% dan 32,90% sedangkan nitrat 5,72% dan 15,07% untuk tinggi unggun 9 cm, C0 fosfat 100 mg/l dan C0 nitrat 150 mg/l. Model Thomas merupakan metode yang sesuai dalam teori kinerja kolom fixed-bed pada penelitian ini. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji selektivitas bahwa resin Tulsion A-23 lebih selektif terhadap adsorpsi nitrat.en_US
