dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research was to test the usage of MOIYL Probiotic to nutriet content of complete feed silage based on corn (zea mays) by product. This research was conducted at Lab Nutrition Microbiology Faculty of Agriculture University of North Sumatra and Nutrition science and feed laboratorium Faculty of animal husbandry and agriculture Dipongoro university of Semarang. The design used in this study was a complete randomized design (RAL) patterned 4x3 pattern with 3 replicates. First factor is dosis of MOIYL Probiotic consists of 4 treatment (A0 = 0% (without) MOIYL Probiotic, A1 = 1% MOIYL Probiotic, A2 = 3% MOIYL Probiotic, A3 = 5% MOIYL Probiotic and the second factor is the fermentation length consists of 3 treatment (L1 = 7 days. L2 = 14 days, L3 = 21 days). The parameter measured include water content, crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, and ash content. The result of this reseach showed that the addiction various levels of MOIYL Probiotic and different length time of fermentation have a very significant interaction (P<0,01) to water content and have a significant interaction (P<0,05) to crude protein, crude fat and ash content. But there was not a significant interaction (P>0,05) to the quality of crude fiber of complete feed silage. The usage of MOIYL Probiotic until 3% and length time of fermentation 14 days gave the best result.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penggunaan probiotik MOIYL terhadap kandungan nutrisi silase pakan komplit berbasis limbah tanaman jagung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Nutrisi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera dan di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Pakan Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian Universitas Dipenogoro, Semarang. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 4x3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pemberian probiotik MOIYL yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan (A0 = 0% (tanpa) probiotik MOIYL, A1 = 1% probiotik MOIYL, A2 = 3% probiotik MOIYL dan A3 = 5% probiotik MOIYL dan Faktor kedua ialah lama fermentasi terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan (L1 = 7 hari, L2 = 14 hari dan L3 = 21 hari). Parameter yang diamati ialah kadar air, protein kasar, serat kasar, lemak kasar dan abu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan berbagai dosis probiotik MOIYL dan beda lama waktu fermentasi memiliki interaksi yang berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kadar air dan memiliki interaksi yang nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas protein kasar, lemak kasar dan kadar abu silase pakan komplit. Namun tidak terdapat interaksi yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas serat kasar silase pakan komplit. Penggunaan dosis probiotik MOIYL hingga 3% dengan lama fermentasi selama 14 hari memberikan hasil yang terbaik.en_US
