“A Description of Figure of Speech in Stephen Crane Selected Poems ”

Abstract

A paper with the title ― A Description of figure of speech in Stephen Crane Selected Poems‖ is describing about the figure of speech in selected poems by Stephen Crane. There also purposes from this paper is to find out what figure of speech that contain in selected poems by Stephen Crane. During the process of writing this paper, the author uses library method with collecting some books that related to the topic as the reference of this paper. In chapter 1, the author describes the background, problem of study, scope of study, objective and method of study. Chapter 2, contains about description of poems and meaning. Chapter 3, contains about the meaning of the poetries. Chapter 4, contains about the conclusion and suggestion of the paper.

Sebuah kertas karya dengan judul ― A Description of figure of speech in Stephen Crane‘s Poems ‖ menggambarkan tentang gaya bahasa dalam pilihan puisi Stephen Crane. Adapun juga tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk menemukan apa majas yang terkandung dalam pilihan puisi oleh Stephen Crane. Selama proses penulisan makalah ini penulis menggunakan metode perpustakaan dengan mengumpulkan beberapa buku yang terkait dengan topik sebagai referensi. Dalam bab 1, penulis menggambarkan latar belakang, masalah studi, ruang lingkup studi, tujuan dan metode studi. Bab 2, berisi tentang deskripsi puisi dan makna. Bab 3, berisi tentang makna dari puisi-puisi. Bab 4, berisi tentang kesimpulan dan saran dari kertas karya ini.
