Abstract

Literature is a group of works of art made up of words. Literature usually means work of Poetry and Prose that are especially well written. Rene Wellek and Austin Warren (1973 : 94) says that “ Literature became a means of passing on the present age of the values and the cultural system for generation to generation”. There are 4 genres of Literature : 1) Fiction Prose, 2) Poetry, 3) Drama, 4) Nonfiction Prose. The author chooses novel that belong to Fiction Prose.
