Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Jumlah Penduduk Miskin di Kabupaten Toba Samosir dengan Menggunakan Metode Regresi Linear Berganda

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the number of poor people in Toba Samosir district in 2010-2019. The model used in this study is the method of multiple linear regression the goal is to observe the relationship of each variable to another variable, to see what percent of the independent variables affect the dependent variable. The results of the correlation analysis show that the relationship between variables of population density, old school expectations, unemployment rates and the number of large and medium-sized industrial companies on the number of poor people is very low. The results of the regression coefficient test showed that the variable population density, long school expectations, unemployment rates and the number of large and medium industrial companies did not have a significant (significant) effect on the number of poor people in Tobasa Regency.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi jumlah penduduk miskin di kabupaten Toba Samosir tahun 2010-2019. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode regresi linear berganda tujuannya adalah untuk mengamati hubungan dari setiap variabel yang satu terhadap variabel yang lain, untuk melihat berapa persen variabel bebas mempengaruhi variabel terikat. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara variabel kepadatan penduduk, harapan lama sekolah, tingkat pengangguran dan jumlah perusahaan industri besar dan sedang terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin sangat rendah. Hasil uji koefisien regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel kepadatan penduduk, harapan lama sekolah, tingkat pengangguran dan jumlah perusahaan industri besar dan sedang tidak memiliki pengaruh yang berarti (signifikan) terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin di Kabupaten Tobasa.
