    Rancang Bangun Sistem Pengecasan Baterai Bertenaga Surya Metode PWM 5a Berbasis Mikrokontroller Atmega328

    Abstract
    This tool is designed to make a Solar Charger Controller based on Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) which is equipped with monitoring and battery status monitoring on the display, where the LCD 16x2 to display the value of the sensor result, this system uses an atmega328 microcontroller, IC XL4015 as an overcurrent protection module that enters battery. If the battery charging process is in progress then the battery is fully charged, then the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) regulates the battery charging function and the current loading from the battery to solar cell. So with the solar charger controller, battery life will be longer because there is no excess charging and voltage instability.
     
    Alat ini dirancang untuk membuat Solar Charger Controller berbasis Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) yang dilengkapi monitoring pengecasan dan status baterai pada display. Dimana LCD 16x2 untuk menampilkan nilai hasil sensor. Sistem ini menggunakan Mikrokontroller Atmega328, IC XL4015 sebagai module perlindungan arus berlebih yang masuk pada baterai. Apabila proses pengisian baterai sedang berlangsung kemudian baterai telah terisi penuh, maka Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) mengatur fungsi pengisian baterai dan pembebanan arus dari baterai ke panel surya. Jadi dengan adanya solar charger controller umur baterai akan lebih lama karena tidak terjadi kelebihan pengisian dan ketidakstabilan tegangan.
