dc.description.abstract | The loading and unloading realization rate increased significantly. As a result of the increase in the number of containers, good service to port service users at the Belawan International Container Terminal is needed. In supporting loading and unloading activities, companies need equipment including Container Crane (CC), Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG) and Head Truck (HT). Based on observations, loading and unloading activities currently take an average of 20-25 hours and there is a HT queue. The company plans to add loading and unloading equipment to reduce loading / unloading times as well as HT waiting times. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the number of additional equipment required by using a simulation. The loading and unloading simulation is carried out using the Discrete Event Simulation (DES) and Agent Based Simulation (ABM).
Model making using AnyLogic software. Experimental simulations were carried out with 6 scenarios based on the number of different RTG Crane and HT. From the simulation results, it can be seen that the addition of the number of RTG cranes has a significant effect on loading and unloading times. The times seen are loading time, loading time, receiving time, delivery time, HT waiting time, and RTG Crane utility. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Peningkatan angka realisasi bongkar muat cukup signifikan. Akibat dari peningkatan jumlah peti kemas tersebut, diperlukan pelayanan yang baik terhadap pengguna jasa pelabuhan di Belawan International Container Terminal. Dalam mendukung kegiatan bongkar muat, perusahaan membutuhkan peralatan diantaranya Container Crane (CC), Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG) dan Head Truck (HT). Berdasarkan pengamatan, kegiatan bongkar muat saat ini membutuhkan waktu rata-rata 20-25 jam serta terdapat antrian HT. Perusahaan berencana menambah peralatan bongkar muat untuk mengurangi waktu bongkar muat serta waktu tunggu HT. Oleh sebab itu penentuan jumlah penambahan peralatan diperlukan dengan menggunakan simulasi. Simulasi bongkar muat dilakukan dengan Discrete Event Simulation (DES) dan Agent Based Simulation (ABM).
Pembuatan model menggunakan software AnyLogic. Simulasi eksperimen dilakukan dengan 6 skenario berdasarkan jumlah RTG Crane dan HT berbeda. Dari hasil simulasi dapat dilihat bahwa penambahan jumlah RTG Crane berpengaruh signifikan terhadapat waktu-waktu dalam kegiatan bongkar muat. Waktu-waktu yang dilihat adalah waktu bongkar, waktu muat, waktu receiving, waktu delivery, waktu tunggu HT, serta utilitas RTG Crane. | en_US |
