    Abstract
    This study aims to analyze the soft skills of Management students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Sumatera Stambuk 2016. Softskill students are assessed through 6 assessments, namely: (1) Communication Ability, (2) Critical Thinking Ability and Resolving Problems, (3) Collaborating in teams, (4) Lifelong Learning Ability, (5) Ethics, Moral and Professionalism, and (6) Leadership Skills. This study looks at how their perceptions of their soft skills by looking at how intrapersonal and interpersonal they affect their soft skills. This study also looked at how their perceptions about the role of self-motivation and Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of North Sumatra on the development of softshell students in Management of the 2016 cane management.The results of the study: (1) Good communication skills, but the difficulties they have in communicating are formally communicating, confidence and the ability to do a percentage; (2) Critical Thinking Ability and Good Problem Solving, but the difficulties faced are analytical skills, feeling lazy and pessimistic, (3) Working together in a good team, but find it difficult to work with people who have apathetic characters, (4) Ability to Learn Lifetime and Information Management, (5) Good Ethics, Morals and Professionalism, and (6) Good leadership skills, but many students feel that they are not a leader. Based on perception, the role of self-motivation greatly influences the soft skills development of Management students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of North Sumatra, North Sumatra 2016.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa softskill mahasiswa Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Stambuk 2016. Softskill mahasiswa dinilai melalui 6 penilaian, yaitu: (1) Kemampuan Berkomunikasi, (2) Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Menyelesaikan Masalah, (3) Bekerjasama dalam tim, (4) Kemampuan Belajar Seumur Hidup, (5) Etika, Moral dan Proffesionalisme, dan (6) Keterampilan Memimipin. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana persepsi mereka mengenai softskill mereka dengan melihat bagaimana intrapersonal dan interpersonal mereka memengaruhi softskill mereka. Penelitian ini juga melihat bagaimana persepsi mereka mengenai peran motivasi diri dan Prodi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara terhadap pengembangan softskill mahasiswa Manajemen stambuk 2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 30 mahasiswa dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian: (1) Kemampuan berkomunikasi baik, namun kesulitan yang mereka dalam berkomunikasi adalah berkomunikasi secara formal, kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan melakukan presentase; (2) Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Menyelesaikan Masalah baik, namun kesulitan yang dihadapi adalah kemampuan analitik, rasa malas dan pesimis, (3) Bekerjasama dalam tim yang baik, namun merasa sulit bekerjasama dengan orang memiliki karakter apatis, (4) Kemampuan Belajar Sepanjang Umur dan Manajemen Informasi, (5) Etika, Moral dan Proffesionalisme yang baik, dan (6) Keterampilan memimpin yang baik, namun ada beberapa mahasiswa yang merasa dirinya bukan seorang pemimpin. Berdasarkan persepsi, peranan Motivasi diri sangat memengaruhi pengembangan softskill para mahasiswa Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara Stambuk 2016. Berdasarkan Persepsi, Prodi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis tidak berkontribusi besar terhadap pengembangan softskill mahasiswa Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara Stambuk 2016.
