dc.description.abstractCooking oil is a food ingredient that is consumed in all parts of the world. When cooking oil is used repeatedly, at that time the feasibility of cooking oil begins to decrease until it is not suitable for consumption. It has been designed and imple-mented an electronic nose device that can detect the aroma type of cooking oil. To be able to detect the aroma of cooking oil, the electronic nose system is designed to flow air from the sample chamber to the sensor room using a fan. During the scent sampling process, the fan will flow the air containing the sample aroma from the sample room to the sensor room, then the outside air will flow to the sensor room. The aroma stimulus captured by the sensor array is in the form of a signal response extracted by the integral method to obtain a digital sample. The sensor that gives a high response to each sample is the TGS2611 sensor which provides a high response to cooking oil including used oil.en_US
dc.description.abstractMinyak goreng merupakan bahan makanan yang dikonsumsi di seluruh belahan dunia. Saat minyak goreng di gunakan berulang ulang, saat itu juga kelayakan minyak goreng mulai berkurang sampai tidak layak dikonsumsi. Telah dirancang dan diimplementasikan sebuah alat hidung elektronik yang dapat mendeteksi aroma jenis jenis minyak goreng. Untuk dapat mendeteksi aroma minyak goreng, sistem electronic nose yang dirancang mengalirkan udara dari ruang sampel ke ruang sensor menggunakan kipas. Saat proses pengambilan aroma sampel, kipas akan mengalirkan udara yang berisi aroma sampel dari ruang sampel ke ruang sensor, kemudian udara luar dialirkan ke ruang sensor. Stimulus aroma yang ditangkap oleh larik sensor berupa respon sinyal di ekstraksi dengan metode integral sehingga didapat pola aroma sampel digital. Sensor yang memberikan respon tinggi pada setiap sampel adalah sensor TGS2611 yang memberikan respon tinggi pada minyak goreng termasuk minyak bekas.en_US
