Background : The studies on liver function, leukocyte and blood pressure with functional outcomes in acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
Objective : To investigate about association between liver function, leukocyte and blood pressure with functional outcomes in acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
Methods : This was a cross-sectional study with a total number of 30 consecutive sampling non random selected, clinically and computed tomography (CT) scan proven acute stroke patients were studied at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital. All participants, that had fulfilled inclusion criteria and didn’t have exclusion criteria, taken demographic data and then blood pressure was measure and the blood was withdrawn to measure liver function (total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase [SGOT], serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase [SGPT], and alkaline phosphatase [ALP]) level. Functional outcomeswas measured based on National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) dan modified Rankin Scale (mRS) on days 1 and 14 .Demographic data would be analyzed using descriptive statistics. To analize association between liver function, leukocyte and blood pressure with functional outcomes in acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, this study would use Chi Square test. A p-value < 0,05 was considered statistically significant.
Results : Subjects with acute stroke did not differ in terms of demographic data. There was no association between liver function (total bilirubin [p=0,152 dan p=0,471; p=0,357 dan p=0,505], direct bilirubin [p=0,475 dan p=0,236; p=0,072 dan p=0,236], indirect bilirubin [p=0,475 dan p=0,236; p=0,209 dan p=0,158] , SGOT [p>0,05], SGPT [p>0,05], ALP [p>0,05]), leukocyte (p=0,053 dan p=0,328; p=0,432 dan p=0,431) and blood pressure (p=0,053 dan p=0,328; p=0,053 dan p=0,911) with functional outcomes in acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
Conclusion : There was no association between liver function, leukocyte and blood pressure with functional outcomes in acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. Latar Belakang : Penelitian tentang kadar fungsi hati, leukosit dan tekanan darah dengan luaran fungsional stroke iskemik dan hemoragik akut.
Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar fungsi hati, leukosit dan tekanan darah dengan luaran fungsional stroke iskemik dan hemoragik.
Metode : Ini adalah sebuah penelitian cross-sectional dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang yang diseleksi dengan metode sampling non random secara konsekutif, pasien stroke akut yang terbukti secara klinis dan computed tomography (CT) Scan yang diteliti di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik. Semua peserta, yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, diambil data demografi dan kemudian diukur tekanan darahnya lalu diambil darahnya untuk mengukur kadar fungsi hati (bilirubin total, bilirubin direct, bilirubin indirect, serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase [SGOT], serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase [SGPT], dan alkaline phosphatase [ALP]), leukosit. Luaran fungsional diukur berdasarkan National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) dan modified Rankin Scale (mRS) baik pada hari 1 dan hari 14. Data demografi akan dianalisa dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Untuk menganalisa hubungan kadar fungsi hati, leukosit dan tekanan darah dengan luaran fungsional stroke iskemik dan hemoragik akut, penelitian ini akan menggunakan uji Chi Square. Nilai p<0,05 dianggap signifikan secara statistik.
Hasil : Semua subjek tidak berbeda dalam hal karakteristik demografi. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kadar fungsi hati (bilirubin total [p=0,152 dan p=0,471; p=0,357 dan p=0,505], bilirubin direct [p=0,475 dan p=0,236; p=0,072 dan p=0,236], bilirubin indirect [p=0,475 dan p=0,236; p=0,209 dan p=0,158] , SGOT [p>0,05], SGPT [p>0,05], ALP [p>0,05]), leukosit (p=0,053 dan p=0,328; p=0,432 dan p=0,431) dan tekanan darah (p=0,053 dan p=0,328; p=0,053 dan p=0,911) dengan luaran fungsional stroke iskemik dan hemoragik akut.
Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat hubungan kadar antara kadar fungsi hati, leukosit dan tekanan darah dengan luaran fungsional stroke iskemik dan hemoragik akut
