dc.description.abstract | Bird flu, or sometimes called Avian influenza, is an epidemic caused by H5N1 virus that primarily affects bird such as chickens and wild birds. There influenza viruses occur naturally among birds in wild waterfowl to not show symptoms of illness, while the domesticated chickens cause severe pain until the cause of death. The spread of Avian influenza transmission can occur due to illness and infected chickens to susceptible chickens in which the interaction is very large because the chickens are in cages This study, to aims the formulate modeling against the spread of bird flu (Avian influenza) with bird flu infection rate in the chicken farm The basic model used SI model (Iwami, 2007). Development of mathematical models expressed in the system of differential equations on a vulnerable population and infected chickens as well as the concentration of virus which is a function of time. (Delianova,et al 2010) Provided management model poultry farm in anticipation of avian flu to the point of equilibrium by removing all the infected chickens or not. Subsequently developed a model in which only the infected chickens are issued, by means of rapid testing in chickens if visible symptoms in chickens. Factor of analysis model can reveal these factors to create a strategy to anticipate the bird flu. Activity of culling chickens is to avoid the Avian influenza outbreak of bird flu in poultry farm in order to anticipate sustain and sustainable through the application of biosecurity. Biosecurity is a security measure against poultry farm trough the security environment and the people involved in the maintenance cycle in synergizes with the preference of society and the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No.28/Permentan/OT.140/52008. In the analysis of this model to investigate other factor to create a strategy to against of Avian influenza. To formulate a strategy to model the spread of Avian influenza control so that outbreak can be minimized. The study result is good in the application show that perception of the breeder of biosecurity for anticipation of bird flu. The laying chickens’ farm in Padang City are at level 3 in free range chicken at level 4 in the implementation of biosecurity. Vaccination conducted 100 percent on laying pullet farm whereas the level 4 as many as 96.8 percent didn’t vaccinated. Based on samples of blood serum resumed in laboratory analysis, the result indicated that there is not occurred bird flu in poultry sector 3 of deposited maintenance 4 chickens continues to be done without the destroying by continuing the ongoing maintenance of chickens by biosecurity to against of bird flu. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Flu burung biasanya diebut dengan (Avian influenza) suatu penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus H5N1 secara alamiah terdapat pada unggas air liar dengan tidak menampakan gejala sakit, sedangkan pada ayam peliharaan menimbulkan sakit yang sangat parah hingga menyebabkan kematian. Penyebaran Avian influenza dapat terjadi akibat penularan ayam yang sakit kepada ayam rentan dalam kandang. Studi ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan pemodelan mengantisipasi penyebaran flu burung dengan menilai proses infeksi flu burung dalam peternakan ayam. Model matematika dinyatakan dalam sistem persamaan diferensial pada populasi yang rentan dan ayam terinfeksi serta konsentrasi virus yang merupakan fungsi waktu. Tindakan pemusnahan ayam merupakan tindakan menghindari wabah flu burung, penerapkan biosekuriti merupakan usaha bertujuan mengantisipasi peternakan ayam agar sustainable. Biosekuriti dilaksanakan mengamankan ternak ayam dari flu burung (Avian influenza) dengan mengamankan lingkungan serta orang yang terlibat dalam siklus pemeliharaan yang bersinergi dengan preferensi masyarakat dan Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Nomor 28/Permentan/OT.140/5/2008. Analisa model dapat mengungkapkan faktor faktor lain untuk membuat strategi mengantisipasi flu burung. Merumuskan strategi model untuk mengontrol penyebaran virus Avian influenza sehingga penularan dapat diminimalkan. Hasil studi memperlihatkan bahwa persepsi peternak baik dalam penerapan biosekuriti untuk mengantisipasi flu burung. Peternakan ayam petelur di Kota Padang berada pada level 3 dalam penerapan biosekuriti, sedangkan ayam kampung pada level 4. Vaksinasi dilakukan 100 persen pada peternakan ayam petelur sedangkan pada ayam kampung pada level 4 sebanyak 96.8 tidak melakukan vaksinasi. Dari sampel serum darah ayam dilanjutkan pada analisa laboratorium, hasilnya menunjukan bahwa virus flu burung Avian influenza belum sampai menimbulkan penyakit pada peternakan ayam sektor 3, pemeliharaan ayam pada sektor 4 terus dilakukan tanpa pemusnahan menyeluruh tindakan menghindari epidemi dengan pemusnahan terbatas. Peternak ayam dapat melanjutkan pemeliharaan ayam secara berkelanjutan dengan menerapkan biosekuriti dalam mengantisipasi flu burung. | en_US |
