    Rancang Bangun Alat Pendeteksi Kadar Beta Karoten Menggunakan Sensor Warna TCS34725

    Abstract
    A beta-carotene level detector using the TCS34725 sensor has been made. This sensor converts light into a frequency that will be processed by the ATmega328p microcontroller. After the results are obtained, the microcontroller output is in the form of binary data displayed by the liquid crystal display (LCD). This sensor not only detects primary colors, namely mellow, green and blue, but also secondary colors such as yellow, white, black, orange, brown and other colors. Making software uses the C programming language. From the results of testing the beta carotene level detector, both seriesAtmega328p microcontroller and liquid crystal display (LCD), it can be concluded that using a beta carotene detector with a color sensor can measure beta carotene levels according to the comparison of the calculated values. Measurement of beta carotene levels with a color sensor showed a relative error value of 4.7%.
     
    Telah dibuat alat pendeteksi kadar beta karoten menggunakan sensor TCS34725. Sensor ini merubah cahaya menjadi frekuensi yang akan diproses mikrokontroller ATmega328p. Setelah diperoleh hasilnya, keluaran mikrokontroler berupa data biner yang ditampilkan oleh liquid cristal display (LCD). Sensor ini tidak hanya mendeteksi warna primer yaitu mereh, hijau dan biru saja melainkan juga warna sekunder seperti kuning, putih, hitam, orange, coklat dan warna lainnya. Pembuatan software menggunakan bahasa pemograman bahasa C. Dari hasil pegujian terhadap alat pendeteksi kadar beta karoten baik rangkaian mikrokontroller ATmega328p maupun liquid cristal display (LCD) dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan alat pendeteksi kadar beta karoten dengan sensor warna dapat mengukur kadar beta karoten sesuai dengan hasil perbandingan nilai perhitungan. Pengukuran kadar beta karoten dengan sensor warna menunjukkan nilai kesalahan relatif sebesar 4,7%.
