    Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a virus outbreak that is currently hitting almost all countries in the world and also in Indonesia. Until August 21, 2020, Indonesia has suffered more than 149,000 positive cases of COVID-19. The impact of this pandemic also affects medical personnel who are in charge of caring for COVID-19 patients. They are at high risk of being infected with the virus. This causes psychological problems, one of which is anxiety. From this study using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale questionnaire, the anxiety subscale, distributed via online media, from May-July 2020, with a sample size of 129 subjects, was carried out to examine what factors were associated with anxiety scores in medical health workers who were treating patients of COVID-19. From this study, we found that there are 4 factors that have a relationship to the occurrence of anxiety, there was gender, marital status, a history of organic disorders and the length of time caring for the patient.
