    Uji Kombinasi Bakteri Penambat Nitrogen dan Pelarut Fosfat yang di Isolasi dari Tanah Perkebunan Berastagi dalam Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Kacang Kedelai (Glycine max (L.) Meriil)

    Abstract
    Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Meriil) is the most widely consumed source of vegetable protein for Indonesian people. Soybean production in the country is not able to meet the needs of the community so that various efforts are made to increase production. The use of chemical fertilizers is one of the soybean farmers' choices in increasing production yields, but chemical fertilizers cause damage to soil structure due to chemical buildup. The use of rhizosphere bacteria is one way to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. One of the rhizosphere bacteria that play a role in fertilizing the soil is nitrogen-fixing bacteria and phosphate solvent bacteria. This research was conducted to select and test the ability of nitrogen-fixing bacteria and phosphate solubilizing bacteria that have the potential to assist the growth of soybeans. This research was conducted with a Completely Randomized Design, with 8 treatments and 3 replications. From the research results obtained 10 isolates of nitrogen-fixing bacteria and 6 phosphate solvent bacteria. Based on qualitative tests conducted, there are 2 nitrogen-fixing potential bacteria (NF4 and NF6) and 2 phosphate solvent potential bacteria (PF1 and PF6). The NF4 isolate produced a pellicle with a thickness of 0.422 cm and an isolate of NF6 with a thickness of 0.365 cm, while the PF1 isolate produced a clear zone of 1,528 and a PF6 of 1,506. The isolate was applied to soybean plants grown for 3 weeks and observed the effect of giving the isolate to the plant growth. The results obtained showed that the treatment with a combination of PF6NF6 bacterial isolates was able to improve the growth of soybeans.
     
    Kedelai (Glycine max (L.) Meriil) merupakan sumber protein nabati paling banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat Indonesia. Produksi kedelai dalam negeri tidak mampu mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat sehingga dilakukan berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi. Penggunaan pupuk kimia merupakan salah satu pilihan para petani kedelai dalam meningkatkan hasil produksi, akan tetapi pupuk kimia menyebabkan kerusakan struktur tanah akibat penumpukan zat kimia. Pemanfaatan bakteri rhizosfer merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia. Salah satu bakteri rhizosfer yang berperan dalam menyuburkan tanah adalah bakteri penambat nitrogen dan bakteri pelarut fosfat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyeleksi dan menguji kemampuan bakteri penambat nitrogen dan bakteri pelarut fosfat yang berpotensi dalam membantu pertumbuhan kacang kedelai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap, dengan 8 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh 10 isolat bakteri penambat nitrogen dan 6 bakteri pelarut fosfat. Berdasarkan uji kualitatif yang dilakukan, terdapat 2 bakteri potensial penambat nitrogen (NF4 dan NF6) dan 2 bakteri potensial pelarut fosfat (PF1 dan PF6). Isolat NF4 menghasilkan pelikel dengan ketebalan 0,422 cm dan isolat NF6 dengan ketebalan 0,365 cm, sementara isolat PF1 menghasilkan indeks zona bening sebesar 1,528 dan PF6 sebesar 1,506. Isolat tersebut diaplikasikan pada tanaman kacang kedelai yang ditumbuhkan selama 3 minggu dan diamati pengaruh pemberian isolat tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan kombinasi isolat bakteri NF6PF6 mampu membantu pertumbuhan kacang kedelai.
