    Abstract
    Along with the need for electricity usage, consumers need to know the amount of electricity used in each day. To find out the amount of electricity usage is by measuring the electric energy using an electric energy meter. The development of communication technology is very fast, the smartphone that is being loved by the public is a smartphone based on the Android operating system, in addition to the features and applications that have been provided by the Android operating system itself is an open source operating system. Maximum 1000W electrical energy usage monitoring tool based on Android smartphone via WiFi is a system that is designed and utilized to read the amount of electrical energy usage which includes voltage, current, power and energy. Monitoring tool connected to the android smartphone which is used as a user interface media that displays electrical energy consumption. The test result show that the monitoring tool maximum electrical energy usage of 1000W based on android smartphone via wifi can measure and display current and voltage values, besides that the monitoring tool for maximum electricity usage based on android smartphone via wifi can monitoring in real time and stored in a database. Voltage, current and power gauges in the use of electrical energy are designed in a simple form that is easy to use with a good degree of accuracy
     
    Seiring dengan kebutuhan pemakaian listrik, konsumen perlu mengetahui jumlah pemakaian energi listrik yang dibutuhkan dalam setiap harinya. Untuk mengetahui jumlah pemakaian listrik adalah dengan cara mengukur energi listrik tersebut menggunakan alat pengukur energi listrik. Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi sangatlah cepat, Smartphone yang sedang digandrungi oleh masyarakat adalah smartphone yang berbasis sistem operasi Android, selain fitur dan aplikasi yang sudah disediakan sistem operasi Android sendiri bersifat sistem operasi open source. Alat Monitoring Pemakaian Energi Listrik Maksimal 1000W Berbasis Smartphone Android Via Wifi adalah sebuah sistem yang dirancang dan dimanfaatkan untuk membaca jumlah pemakaian energi listrik yang meliputi tegangan, arus, daya dan energi. Alat monitoring dikoneksikan pada Smartphone Android yang digunakan sebagai media interface user yang menampilkan konsumsi energi listrik. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa alat monitoring pemakaian energi listrik maksimal 1000W berbasis smartphone android via wifi dapat mengukur dan menampilkan nilai arus dan tegangan, selain itu alat monitoring pemakaian energi listrik maksimal 1000W berbasis smartphone android via wifi dapat memonitoring secara real time serta tersimpan pada basis data. Alat pengukur tegangan, arus dan daya dalam pemakaian energi listrik dirancang dalam bentuk sederhana yang mudah digunakan dengan tingkat akurasi yang baik
