dc.description.abstract | Air lindi, adalah air yang dihasilkan dari berbagai proses seperti pembusukan sampah, infiltrasi air
kedalam tumpukan sampah, maupun air yang terkandung dari sampah sendiri, yang dimana akan
mengalir ke bagian bawah tumpukan sampah dan mengekstraksi kandungan sampah baik terlarut
maunpun tersuspensi. Air lindi jika tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat merusak lingkungan maupun
mahluk hidup di sekitarnya. TPA Mencirim adalah instalasi pengolahan sampah yang beroperasi dari
tahun 1985 dan berakhir pada Tahun 2030, instalasi ini diperkirakan tidak akan sanggup menampung volume
sampah yang dihasilkan dari kota Binjai, sehingga dilakukan lah penelitian perancangan sistem TPA sanitary
landfill di TPA Mencirim, diperkirakan bahwa unit instalasi pengolahan air lindi eksisting tidak dapat mengolah
air lindi yang dihasilkan dari TPA yang akan dirancang sehingga perlu untuk dirancang sistem baru yang
mampu mengolah air lindi yang dihasilkan. Timbulan debit lindi akan dihitung menggunakan metode neraca
air Thornthwaite-Matter. Metode ini akan memperhitungkan faktor – faktor seperti presipirasi, evapotranspirasi,
surface run-off dan Soil moisture storage. Pemilihan unit proses yang digunakan akan dikondisikan bedasarkan
karakteristik air lindi yang berasal dari lokasi eksisting, dan unit proses yang dirancang akan mengikuti unit
pengolahan air lindi yang terdapat pada Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 3 Tahun 2013 Tentang
Penyelengaraan Sarana dan Prasarana Persampahan Lampiran III. Pengambilan Sample air lindi
dilaksanakan di inlet kolam IPL eksisting, sampling dilaksanakan dengan metode Grab Sampling yang
dimana akan dibawa ke laboratorium untuk diperiksa kandungannya, baku mutu yang digunakan adalah
Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan No. 59 Tahun 2016 Tentang Baku Mutu Lindi
Bagi Usaha dan atau Kegiatan TPA Sampah. Perhitungan rencana anggaran biaya dilakukan berdasarkan
harga satuan setempat dan mengikuti peraturan yang ada. Bedasarkan dari perhitungan neraca air metode
Thornthwaite-matter didapatkan timbulan air lindi dari perancangan TPA sanitary landfill di Mencirim
kota Binjai adalah sebesar 85,78 m3/hari dan karakteristik air lindi yang didapatkan bedasarkan hasil
analisis yang dilakukan di laboratorium memiliki kandungan pH sebesar 7,99, BOD sebesar 1328,00
mg/L, COD sebesar 2970,00 mg/L, dan kandungan TSS sebesar 308,00 mg/L. Bedasarkan karakteristik
air lindi yang didapatkan unit – unit proses pengolahan lindi yang dipilih untuk mengolah air lindi di
TPA Mencirim adalah bak ekualisasi, bak anaerobik, bak fakultatif, bak wetland, bak kontrol dan
desinfektasi. Hasil efluen dari unit instalasi yang dirancang diperkirakan memiliki kandungan BOD
sebesar 30,00 mg/L dan kandungan COD Sebesar 67,09 mg/L. Total biaya investasi yang diperhitungkan
untuk membangun unit yang dirancang adalah sebesar Rp. 3.521.100.000,00. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Leachate, is a water produced from various processes such as decomposition of waste, infiltration of
water into the pile of garbage, or water contained in the waste itself, which will flow to the bottom of
the pile of garbage and extract the contents of both dissolved and suspended waste. Leachate if not
managed properly can damage the environment and the living things around it. Mencirim Municipal
Solid Waste Landfill is a solid waste processing installation which has been operating from 1985 and
projected will ceased operation in 2030, this installation are expected not be able to accommodate the
volume of waste generated from the city of Binjai, so a research on the design of the sanitary landfill
system was carried out at Mencirim Municipal Solid Waste Landfill. Existing leachate Treatment Plant
(LTP) calculated cannot treat leachate from new landfill system that which will be designed so it is
necessary to design a new system that capable of treating leachate water that produced. Leachate
discharge will be calculated using the Thornthwaite-Matter water balance method. This method will take
into account factors such as precipitation, evapotranspiration, surface run-off and soil moisture storage.
The selection of the process unit will be used are conditioned based on the characteristics of leachate
from the existing location, and the process unit which is designed will follow the leachate treatment unit
contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 3 of 2013 concerning Management of
Facilities and Infrastructure of Solid Waste Appendix III. Sampling of leachate was carried out at the
inlet of the existing LTP pool, sampling was carried out using the Grab Sampling method which would
be taken to the laboratory to be examined for its contents, the quality standard used was the Regulation
of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. 59 of 2016 concerning the Quality Standards of
Leachate for Business and / or Activities of MSWL Waste. The calculation of the budget plan is carried
out based on the local unit price and follows the existing regulations. Based on the water balance
calculation of the Thornthwaite-matter method, the leachate generation from the design of the sanitary
landfill in Mencirim, Binjai City was 85.78 m3 / day and the characteristics of leachate obtained based
on the results of the analysis carried out in the laboratory had a pH content of 7.99. , BOD of 1328.00
mg / L, COD of 2970.00 mg / L, and TSS content of 308.00 mg / L. Based on the characteristics of the
leachate obtained, the leachate processing units selected to treat leachate at TPA Mencirim are
equalization tanks, anaerobic tanks, Facultative tanks, wetland tanks, control tanks and disinfectants.
The effluent yield from the designed installation unit is estimated to have a BOD content of 30.00 mg /
L and a COD content of 67.09 mg / L. The total investment cost calculated to build the designed unit is Rp. 3,521,100,000.00. | en_US |
