Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pertumbuhan Agroindustri di Kota Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors which influence on the growth of agroindustry in Medan city. The method used to analyze the factors that influence on growth of the agroindustring in Medan city is Ordinary Least Square(OLS) method using time series data begin from 1986 until 2007. To finding accurately estimation, we used classical assumption and test of statistic in this research. The result of this study shows that the coefficien determination R is 82,50 percent. The result of estimation to independent variables shows investment variable, has positive and significant effect at 1 percent degree of confidence. Loan interest rate variable has negative and significant effect at 1 pecent degree of confidence. Amount of labor that work in agroindustry has positive and significant effect at 1 percent degree of confidence. Therefor economic crisis has significant effect on the growth of agroindustry in Medan City.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan agroindustri di Kota Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis perkembangan agroindustri di Kota Medan adalah metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS), dengan menggunakan data time series dari tahun 1986 sampai 2007. Untuk menemukan estimasi yang akurat, maka digunakan dalam penelitian ini digunakan tes asumsi klasik dan tes satistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar R 82,50 persen. Hasil estimasi terhadap variabel bebas menunjukkan bahwa variabel investasi di sektor agroindustri berpengaruh positif serta signifikan pada taraf kepercayaan 1 persen. Variabel tingkat suku kredit berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan pada taraf kepercayaan 1 persen. Variabel jumlah tenaga kerja yang bekerja di sektor agroindustri berpengaruh positif serta signifikan pada taraf kepercayaan hingga 1 persen. Kemudian, variabel krisis ekonomi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan agroindustri di Kota Medan.
