    Studi Ekologi Kerang Lokan Geloina Erosa (Solander 1786) di Ekosistem Mangrove Belawan

    Abstract
    Ecological Studies Scallop seashell Geloina erosa (Solander 1786) in Mangrove Ecosystem Belawan, has been investigated in December 2013 - February 2014. G. erosa Samples taken from three observation stations and each station observations were made 3 replicates (monthly) sampling. The method used in determining the sampling point is the "purposive sampling" in G. erosa samples were collected directly by capturing by hand at the lowest tide. Identification PUSLITDAL sampling is conducted at the Laboratory of Natural Sciences PSDAL USU. Measurement of physical and chemical parameters of the water is done with measuring devices that have been determined "in situ" and for some chemical parameters in laboratory measurements. Result of the analysis data obtained the highest density of G. erosa Nypah fruticants vegetation at station 1 average of 3,207 individuals / m2, the lowest at stations 2 Heterogeneous vegetation at stations 2 average of 1,362 individuals / m2. Scallop seashell G erosa have flocking deployment patterns, uniform, this depends on the mangrove vegetation, sediment and aquatic environmental factors. While the size of the group is dominated by the size of 6.0-6.9. The growth pattern showed a pattern of negative allometric (b <3). Correlation analysis with the abundance of G. erosa physical factors, water chemistry indicates the direction of the correlation, that is to the greater the value of the physical parameters, chemical then G erosa greater abundance too
     
    Studi Ekologi Kerang Lokan Geloina erosa (Solander 1786) di Ekosistem Mangrove Belawan, telah diteliti pada bulan Desember 2013 – Februari 2014. Sampel G. erosa di ambil dari 3 stasiun pengamatan dan setiap stasiun pengamatan dilakukan 3 ulangan (perbulan) pengambilan sampel. Metoda yang digunakan dalam menentukan titik pengambilan sampel adalah secara ‖Purposive Sampling” dalam sampel G. erosa langsung dikumpulkan dengan cara menangkap dengan tangan pada saat surut terendah. Identifikasi sampel dilakukan di PUSLITDAL di Laboratorium PSDAL FMIPA USU. Pengukuran parameter fisik dan kimia air dilakukan dengan alat ukur yang telah ditentukan secara ‖In situ‖ dan untuk beberapa parameter kimia pengukuran di laboratorium. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh kepadatan G. erosa tertinggi pada stasiun 1 vegetasi Nypah fruticants rata-rata 3,207 individu/m2, terendah pada stasiun 2 vegetasi Heterogen rata-rata 1,362 individu/m2. Kerang G erosa mempunyai pola penyebaran secara Bergerompol, Seragam, hal ini tergantung pada vegetasi mangrove, sedimen dan faktor lingkungan perairan. Sedangkan berdasarkan kelompok ukuran didominasi ukuran 6.0-6.9 . Pola pertumbuhan menunjukkan pola allometrik negatif (b<3). Analisis korelasi kepadatan G. erosa dengan faktor fisik, kimia perairan menunjukkan korelasi searah, artinya semakin besar nilai parameter fisik, kimia maka kepadatan G erosa semakin besar dan begitu sebaliknya.
