dc.description.abstract | Background:Musculoskeletal Painis amajor health problemworldwide. The current studyshowsoverweightandobesehave ahigherrisk ofthe occurrence ofmusculoskeletal pain, it is associatedwithmetabolic syndromeandtype 2 diabetes mellitus. Objective: To determine the ratio of blood sugar levels and lipid profile in chronic musculoskeletal pain and non-musculoskeletal pain. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study with independent T and Mann – Whitney methods using 124 subjects, consisted of a chronic musculoskeletal pain and non-musculoskeletal pain patients. All subjects underwent anamneses, physical and neurological examinations, X- Ray examination, the blood sugar levels and lipid profile examination. Results: From this study 124 samples, there were 82 women (66.13%). There were no significant differences the levels of total cholesterol (p=0.069), triglycerides (p=0.182), High - Density Lipoprotein (p=0.479), Low - Density Lipoprotein (p=0.528), but a significant difference between the levels of adrandom blood sugar (p = 0.001), fasting blood glucose levels (p = 0.001), and postprandial blood glucose levels (p = 0.024) and the incidence of chronic musculoskeletal pain. dc.description.abstract | Latar Belakang:Nyeri Muskuloskeletal merupakan salah satu masalah utama kesehatan di seluruh dunia. Penelitian saat ini menunjukkan kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas memiliki resiko yang tinggi terjadinya nyeri muskuloskeletal, hal ini berhubungan dengan sindroma metabolik dan diabetes melitus tipe 2 Tujuan :Untuk mengetahui perbandingan kadar gula darah dan kadar lipid profile pada nyeri muskuloskeletal kronik dan nyeri non muskuloskeletal. Metode :Penelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang dengan metode uji T independen dan uji Mann – Whitney, yang terdiri dari 124 subjek yang terdiri dari kelompok nyeri musculoskeletal kronik dan kelompok nyeri non musculoskeletal. Seluruh subjek menjalani anamneses, pemeriksaan fisik dan neurologis, pemeriksaan X – Ray, pemeriksaaan kadar gula darah dan pemeriksaan kadar lipid profile Hasil :Pada studi ini sebanyak 124 pasien, terdiri dari 82 perempuan (66,13%). Didapatkan perbedaan yang tidak bermakna pada kadar total kolesterol (p=0,069), kadar trigliserida (p=0,182), High – Density Lipoprotein (p=0,479), Low – Density Lipoprotein (p=0,528), tapi Didapatkan perbedaan yang bermakna kadar gula darah sewaktu (p=0,001), kadar gula darah puasa (p=0,001), dan kadar gula darah postprandial (p=0,024) dengan kejadian nyeri muskuloskeletal kronik. Kesimpulan :dijumpai adanya perbedaan kadar gula darah yang bermakna antara nyeri muskuloskeletal dan nyeri non musculoskeletal. | en_US |
