    Analisis Lokasi Aliran Muka Sebagai Fungsi Waktu Resapan pada Proses VARTM

    Abstract
    Resin transfer molding in composite panel observed with the computer as the VARTM process. It's simulation who name "Flow Front Simulation" illustrated as "Flow Front Location" as a function of infiltration time who proportional to "Physics Characteristic" and "Quality" of the composite panels. From the computer simulation of "3 DINFIL", we know infiltration time of the composite panels so that we can made equation of: infiltration time, physics characteristic and quality of the composite panels. From the simulation of: flow front location, quantity of infiltration time and simulation infiltration time we can connected the difference quantity infiltration time with the physics characteristic or quality of the composite panels. We also can the connected of quantity the first infiltration time, quantity the second infiltration time and average simulation infiltration time. According to the theoretical, effect of the change flow front location to the pressure as a function of infiltration time so that the VARTM process more quickly than RIM process
     
    Panel komposit yang diresapi resin diamati dengan komputer sebagai proses VARTM. Simulasinya yang disebut "Simulasi Aliran Muka" digambarkan dalam bentuk "Lokasi Aliran Muka" sebagai fungsi "Waktu Resapan" yang berbanding lurus dengan Sifat Fisis dan Kualitas panel komposit. Dari simulasi komputer "3 DINFIL" diketahui waktu resapan beberapa panel komposit sehingga dapat dibuat persamaan hubungan: waktu resapan, sifat fisis dan kualitas panel komposit. Dari data simulasi lokasi aliran muka, banyak waktu resapan dan waktu resapan simulasi maka dihasilkan hubungan antara perbedaan banyak waktu resapan, sifat fisis dan kualitas panel komposit. Demikian pula hubungan antara banyaknya waktu resapan pertama, banyak waktu resapan kedua dan rata-rata waktu resapan simulasi. Secara teori, pengaruh perubahan lokasi aliran muka menjadi tekanan sebagai fungsi waktu resapan menunjukkan bahwa proses VARTM jauh lebih cepat dan proses RTM.
