    Analisis Pengaruh Temperatur Reaksi dan Konsentrasi Katalis Naoh dalam Media Etanol terhadap Perubahan Karakteristik Fisika Biodiesel Sawit

    Abstract
    Oil palm has done transesterification in ethanol media with catalyst NaOH in variation temperature reaction and concentration catalyst. Variation temperature reaction (T1 : 300C, T2 : 500C, T3 : 700C) and variation temperature reaction (K1 : 0,375% b/b, K2 : 0,500% b/b, K3 : 0,625% b/b) on transesterification process will produce coconut oil Biodiesel physic characteristic in differenties (T1K1, T1K2, T1K3, T2K1, T2K2, T2K3, T3K1, T3K2, T3K3) characteristics that examine conclude viscosity, density, flash point, and water rate. Ethyl ester that get for each action is divided, cleaning screening and purred with distillation on 1100C degree and then characterized. Biodiesel that examine that have connection linier with different temperature of reaction and concentration of catalyst except flash point is not effect the different temperature reaction and concentration catalyst viscosity optimum value on T1K1, minimum on T3K3, Density has optimum value on T1K1, Water rate has optimum value on T3K3 so the result optimum production on temperature and catalyst (T3K3).
     
    Telah dilakukan transesterifikasi minyak kelapa sawit dalam media etanol dengan katalis NaOH pada temperatur reaksi dan konsentrasi katalis yang berbeda-beda. Variasi temperatur reaksi (T1 : 30, T2 : 50, dan T3 : 70) dan variasi konsentrasi katalis (K1 : 0,375 b/b, K2 : 0,500 b/b, K3 : 0,625 b/b) pada proses transesterifikasi akan menghasilkan karakteristik fisika Biodiesel Sawit yang berbeda-beda (T1K1, T1K2, T1K3, T2K1, T2K2, T2K3, T3K1, T3K2, T3K3). Karakteristik yang diuji meliputi viskositas, densitas, flash point, dan kadar air. Etil ester yang diperoleh untuk setiap perlakuan dipisahkan, dicuci, disaring, dan dimurnikan dengan distilasi pada suhu 1100C lalu dikarakterisasi. Biodiesel yang diuji mempunyai hubungan yang linier dengan perubahan temperatur reaksi dan konsentrasi katalis kecuali flash point tidak dipengaruhi perubahan temperatur reaksi dan konsentrasi katalis. Viskositas mempunyai nilai optimum pada T1K1, minimum pada T3K3. Densitas mempunyai nilai optimu
