The applied polypropylene the melting point is 175° C and the density ( ? ) = 0,905. Blended polypropylene ( PP ) with saw dust of coconut trunk ( SPBK ) has been experimented, and the best comparison of PP/SPBK is 90 : 10. Mechanical characteristicof blended PP/SPBK obviously improves the tension (? ) modulus ofelasticity ( E ) , but reduces tensile strength ( e ). Thermal analysis shows blending of PP and SPBK does not influence glass temperature and melting point of PP, but increases glass temperature of industrial plastic jerrycan ( JPI ). Based on the data of characteristic test result on composite material of PP/SPBK with PP and JPI materials as the standard of comparison it is obvious that PP/SPBK composites can improve the tensile strength of the composite material.en_US
