    Pemanfaatan Biogas Kotoran Ternak Sapi sebagai Pengganti Bahan Bakar Minyak dan Gas

    Abstract
    Gas bio merupakan gas hasil aktivitas biologi melalui proses fermentasi anaerob dan merupakan energi terbarukan, sebagai bahan pembuat gas bio adalah kotoran hewan dan sampah organik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua macam variasi pengenceran terhadap medium larutan (air PDAM ) yaitu 1 : 2 dan 1 : 4% volume. Pengamatan meliputi besarnya produksi gas bio, komposisi gas bio, tekanan, tempratur dan tingkat keasaman (pH). Temperatur yang bekerja pada bio degester berkisar 30 – 350C, tingkat keasaman (pH) bahan 6,48 – 7,62. Produksi gas bio untuk pengenceran 1 : 2 berkisar 84 – 175 mL untuk komposisi 100% kotoran sapi, untuk pengenceran 1 : 4 dengan komposisi 100% kotoran sapi berkisar 122 – 305 mL (gas bio didominasi oleh gas metana).
     
    Biogas is a gas produced from biological activities in anaerobic fermentation process and as a renewable energy. As raw material in making process of biogas is by using cow manure and organic garbage. This reseach divided into two groups based on the slurry variations to mixing medium (PDAM water), that are 1 : 2 and 1 : 4% volume. The results showed that the biggest biogas production, biogas compotition, temperature pressure, acid substrate level. The temperature in biodigester is between 30 – 350C, acid substrate level is 6.48 – 7.62. The production of biogas for slurry 1 : 2 group are between 84 – 175 ml. 100% cow manure for slurry 1 : 4 group by the composition of the cow manure are between 122 – 305 ml biogas (biogas is dominated by methane gas).
