Efektifitas Penggunaan Gunting ( Curved Blade Scissors) Dibandingkan dengan Elektrodesikasi pada Pengobatan Skin Tag

Abstract

Background: Skin tag is a small, tender, pedunculated and hyperpigmented tumour. It is frequently occurred on the eyelids, neck, and axilla. There are several treatment methods for skin tag such as electrodessication, shaving, ablative laser, dermabration, and fluorouracyl. Objective: To compare the treatments using curved blade scissors with electrodessication for patients with skin tags. Subjects and method: 18 cases of patients with skin tags were treated with curved blade scissors and electrodessication to access the effectiveness of these two treatments for skin tags. Results: This study included 18 patients with skin tags which were treated with curved blade scissors and electrodessication techniques. Patients with skin tags experienced fear (62%) and pain (28%) when treated using curved blade scissors. Patients with skin tags experienced fear (95%) and pain (84%) when treated with electrodessication. The cure result of patients with skin tags treated using curved blade scissors, the erythema, oedema, and wet wound had not been found on the third week. The cure result of patients with skin tags treated using electrodessication, the erythema was found and 11,1% of the wound closed on the third week. We found that curved blade scissors technique was more effective than electrodessication. Conclusion: The results of this study is that the technique using curved blade scissors was more effective, the wound healing was more rapid, the erythema and hypopigmentation/hyperpigmentation less occurred.

Latar Belakang : skin tag adalah merupakan tumor yang kecil, lunak, pedunkulasi dan hiperpigmentasi, Sering terjadi pada kelopak mata,leher dan ketiak. Ada beberapa pengobatan untuk skin tag yaitu elektrodesikasi, shaving, laser ablasi, dermabrasi dan flourouracil. Tujuan : melakukan perbandingan pengobatan dengan menggunakan gunting dn elektrodesikasi pada pasien skin tag. Subjek dan metode : 18 kasus pasien skin tag dilakukan penatalaksanaan dengan menggunakan gunting dan elektrodesikasi. Untuk melihat efektifitas dari kedua pengobatan pada skin tag. Hasil : penelitian ini terdiri dari 18 pasien skin tag yang dilakukan pengobatan dengan tehnik gunting dan elektrodesikasi. Pasien skin tag mempunyai rasa takut (62 %) dan rasa nyeri (28%) .deng Pasien skin tag mempunyai rasa takut (95%) dan rasa nyeri (84%) dengan tindakan dilakukan elektrodesikasi Hasil kesembuhan pada pasien skin tag dengan menggunakan gunting pada akhir minggu ke III sudah tidak ditemukan eritema, edema dan luka basah. tindakan dilakukan dengan menggunakan gunting. elektrodesikasi Hasil kesembuhan pada pasien skin tag dengan menggunakan elektrodesikasi pada akhir minggu ke III ditemukan eritema 11,1% luka menutup pada akhir minggu ke III. Kami menemukan bahwa tehnik pengguntingan lebih efektif dibanding elektrodesikasi Kesimpulan : hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa tehnik menggunakan gunting lebih efektif, lebih cepat proses penyembuhan, eritema, lebih kurang terjadi hipopigmentasi/ hiperpigmentasi
