dc.description.abstractBackground and objective : Headache is influenced by many factors including blood pressure, hemoglobin level , and platelet level. Blood pressure is associated with headache when the primary afferent fibers that innervate the meningeal or cerebral blood vessels are activated. Hemoglobin level is related to headache if the level is abnormal causing lack of oxygen supply in the blood. Platelet level is associated with headache in the presence of platelet and nitric oxide dysfunction Objective: This study was aimed to investigate the relationship between blood pressure, hemoglobin level and platelet level with primary headache Method : This study was a cross – sectional study with Kolmogorov - Smirnov and Somers’d method using 156 subjects, consisted of primary headache and non headache patients. All Subjects underwent physical and neurological examinations, blood pressure, hemoglobin and platelet measurement, also completed the headache questionnaire adapted from HO K-H & Ong BK – C. Results : From the study 156 samples, there were 49 male (31.4%). Sistole blood pressure in primary headache patients were found low in 1.3%, normal in 70.5%, high in 28.2%. There was no significant association between sistole blood pressure and headache (p = 1.000, r = 0.038). Diastole blood pressure in primary headache patients were found low in 7.7%, normal in 66.7%, high in 25.6%. There was no significant association between diastole blood pressure and headache (p = 1.000, r = 0.017). Hemoglobin level in primary headache patients were found low in 14.1%, normal in 82.1%, high in 3.8%. There was no significant association between hemoglobin level and headache (p = 0.975, r = 0.215). Platelet level in primary headache patients were found low 2.6%, normal 92.3%, high 5.1%. There was no significant association between platelet level and headache (p = 1,000, r = -0,013). Conclusion : There were very weak and no significant associations between blood pressure, hemoglobin level, and platelet level with primary headacheen_US
dc.description.abstractLatar belakang dan tujuan: Nyeri kepala dapat disebabkan oleh banyak faktor termasuk tekanan darah, kadar hemoglobin, dan kadar trombosit. Tekanan darah berhubungan dengan nyeri kepala ketika serat afferent primer menginversi meningeal atau pembuluh darah serebral menjadi aktif. Kadar hemoglobin memiliki hubungan dengan nyeri kepala ketika kurangnya suplai oksigen dalam darah. Kadar trombosit memiliki hubungan dengan dengan nyeri kepala dengan adanya disfungsi platelet dan nitric oxide. Tujuan : penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tekanan darah, kadar hemoglobin dan kadar trombosit dengan nyeri kepala primer. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang dengan metode uji Kolmogorov – Smirnov dan Somers’d., yang terdiri dari 156 subjek yang terdiri kelompok nyeri kepala dengan kelompok tidak nyeri kepala. Seluruh subjek menjalani pemeriksaan fisik dan neurologis, pengukuran tekanan darah dan pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin dan kadar trombosit, mengisi kuesioner yang diadaptasi dari HO K-H & Ong BK-C. Hasil : Pada studi ini sebanyak 156 pasien, terdiri dari 49 laki-laki (31.4%). Tekanan darah sistolik pada nyeri kepala primer ditemukan TDS rendah 1.3%, TDS normal 70.5%, TDS tinggi 28.2%. Tidak dijumpai hubungan tekanan darah sistolik dengan nyeri kepala, (p = 1.000, r = 0,038). Tekanan darah diastolik pada nyeri kepala primer ditemukan TDD rendah 7.7%, TDD normal 66.7%, TDD tinggi 25.6%. Tidak dijumpai hubungan tekanan darah diastolik dengan nyeri kepala, (p = 1.000, r = 0.017). Kadar hemoglobin pada nyeri kepala ditemukan Hb rendah 14.1%, Hb normal 82.1%, Hb tinggi 3.8%. Tidak dijumpai hubungan kadar hemoglobin dengan nyeri kepala, (p = 0.975, r = 0.215). Kadar trombosit pada nyeri kepala primer ditemukan trombosit rendah 2.6%, trombosit normal 92.3%, dan trombosit tinggi 5.1%. Tidak dijumpai hubungan kadar trombosit dengan nyeri kepala, (p = 1.000, r = -0.013). Kesimpulan : Dijumpai adanya hubungan yang sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan antara tekanan darah, kadar hemoglobin dan kadar trombosit dengan nyeri kepala primeren_US
