Perbedaan Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction (LVEF) pada Penderita Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) sebelum dan sesudah Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Aim: To compare the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) before and after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedure in coronary artery disease patients at H. Adam Malik Hospital. Method:This study was an experimental study that compared the LVEF before and after CABG procedure in CAD patients at H. Adam Malik Hospital. Sample were 21 patients with range of age 40-60 years old, who treated as CAD and underwent on pump CABG procedure in Thorax and Cardiovascular Division of H. Adam Malik Hospital. Data LVEF pre and post CABG procedure were collected and analyzed with Wilcoxon test by SPSS 16.0. Result: There were 21 patient included in this study and male (66.7%) were dominated the sample compared with female (33.3%). The mean of age was 49.52 years. The median of LVEF before the CABG procedure was 25% (14%-55%) and after the CABG procedure was 55% (23%-62%). There was a significant different of LVEF median between pre and post CABG procedure, p<0.05. Conclusion:The LVEF was increased after CABG procedure compared than before CABG procedure, with significant statistic result p<0.05.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan ejection fraction sebelum dan sesudah Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) pada penderita Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. Metode:Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental yang membandingkan LVEF pada pasien CAD sebelum dan setelah operasi CABG di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. Sampel berjumlah 21 orang yang merupakan semua pasien dengan CAD yang dilakukan on pump CABG dengan usia 40-65 tahun di bagian Bedah Thoraks Kardiovaskular, RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. Data LVEF sebelum dan setelah CABG kemudian diukur, dan diolah menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, menggunakan SPSS 16.0. Hasil: Dari total 21 pasien yang diikutsertakan dalam penelitian jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 66.7% dan perempuan 33.3%, dengan usia rata-rata 49.52 tahun. Median LVEF sebelum CABG adalah 25% (14%-55%) dan setelah CABG adalah 55% (23%-62%). Ditemukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara median LVEF sebelum dan setelah CABG dengan p<0.05. Kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan LVEF setelah tindakan CABG dan secara uji statistik ditemukan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara median LVEF sebelum dan setelah CABG (p<0.05).
