Pembuatan dan Karakterisasi Kertas Pembungkus yang dibuat dari Kantong Semen Bekas dengan Pulp Jerami

Abstract

The Research of forming and characteristic of paper which is made of mixture of straw pulp and cemen`t bag trace pulp has been conducted. Research with caustic process method, aim to obtain; mixture paper raw material alternates mix of straw and cemen`t bag trace. For mixture 0 % straw pulp and 100 % pulp of cemen`t bag trace, is got the example of paper which has the gramatur of 108,13 gr/m2, the average of density is 720,89 kg/m3, the evarage of tensile strength is 123,28 x 105 N/m2, the average of strength tear is 1548,71 x 10-3 N. For mixture 100 % straw pulp and 0 % pulp of cemen`t bag trace, is got the average of gramatur is 100.07 gr/m2, the average of density is 833,89 kg/m3, the average of tensile strength is 153,09 x 105 N/m2, the average of strength tear mean is 2026,93 x 10-3 N. For the optimum of gramatur is the mixture 90 % straw pulp and 10 % pulp of cemen`t bag trace, is got the example of paper which is has the average gramatur is 114,10 gr/m2, the average of density is 796,05 kg/m3, the average of tensile strength is 150,47 x 105 N, the average of the strength tear is 2000,24 x 10-3 N.

Penelitian tentang pembuatan dan karakterisasi kertas yang dibuat dari campuran pulp jerami dan pulp kantong semen bekas telah dilakukan. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan dengan metode proses soda, bertujuan untuk memperoleh alternatif bahan baku kertas campuran, dari pulp jerami dan kantong semen bekas. untuk campuran 0 % pulp jerami dan 100 % pulp kantong semen bekas, diperoleh contoh kertas yang mempunyai gramatur rata-rata 108,13 gr/m2, kerapatan massa rata-rata 720,89 kg/m3, kuat tarik rata-rata 123,28 x 105 N/m3, kekuatan sobek rata-rata 1548,71 x 10-3 N . Untuk campuran 100 % pulp jerami dan 0 % pulp kantong semen bekas, diperoleh contoh kertas yang mempunyai gramatur rata-rata 100,07 gr/m2, kerapatan massa rata-rata 833,89 kg/m3, kuat tarik rata-rata 153,09 x 105 N/m3, kekuatan sobek rata-rata 2026,93 x 10-3 N. Untuk gramatur yang yang optimum yaitu campuran 90 % pulp jerami dan 10 % pulp kantong semen bekas, diperoleh contoh kertas yang mempunyai gramatur rata-rata 114,10 gr/m2, kerapatan massa rata-rata 796,05 kg/m3, kuat tarik rata-rata 150,47 x 105 N/m3, kekuatan sobek rata-rata 2000,24 x 10 -3 N.
