    Abstract
    The development of technology today is very fast. The development of this technology has penetrated various sectors of human life, be it in the fields of education, health, transportation, food, buildings and all things that can facilitate human work. One of the very fast technological developments is in the field of IoT. IoT (Internet of Things) technology is a concept where a device has the ability to communicate with other devices using the help of sensors and internet networks. IoT technology can be used in the Electricity Cost Monitoring System and Automatic Control of Electronic Smart Power Outlets Android-Based. The series of System tools is connected to the Arduino Mega microcontroller to translate the data signal from the sensor and is connected to the Esp8266 MCU node so that the device System can communicate with the Smart Power Outlet application using the internet network. The System is equipped with sensors that function to read current, voltage and temperature values as well as automation sensors in the form of sound, light and motion sensors. This System can monitor electricity usage. And can control electronic devices from real time, schedule and automatically. Control in real-time, automatically and using sensors applies the Finite State Machine method and control on a schedule applies the Rule Based method. Users with the Smart Power Outlet application can easily monitor their electricity usage and can control their electronic equipment remotely.
     
    Perkembangan teknologi pada masa kini sangatlah cepat. Perkembangan teknologi tersebut telah merambah ke berbagai sektor kehidupan manusia baik itu di bidang pendidikan, kesehatan, transportasi, pangan, bangunan dan segala hal yang dapat mempermudah pekerjaan manusia. Salah satu perkembangan teknologi yang sangat cepat adalah di bidang Iot. Teknologi IoT (Internet of Things) adalah suatu konsep dimana suatu alat memiliki kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan alat lainnya menggunakan bantuan sensor dan jaringan internet. Teknologi IoT dapat digunakan dalam Sistem Monitoring Biaya Listrik Dan Pengendali Otomatis Peralatan Elektronik Smart Power Outlet Berbasis Android. Rangkaian sistem alat tersebut dihubungkan dengan mikrokontroler Arduino Mega untuk menerjemahkan sinyal data dari sensor dan dihubungkan dengan Nodemcu Esp8266 sehingga sistem alat dapat berkomunikasi dengan aplikasi Smart Power Outlet menggunakan jaringan internet. Sistem dilengkapi dengan sensor yang berfungsi untuk membaca nilai arus, tegangan dan suhu serta sensor otomatisasi berupa sensor suara, cahaya, dan gerak. Sistem ini dapat memonitoring penggunaan listrik. Serta dapat mengendalikan alat-alat elektronik dari secara real time, schedule dan otomatis. Pengendalian secara real-time, otomatis serta menggunakan sensor menerapkan metode Finite State Machine dan pengendalian secara schedule menerapkan metode Rule Based. Pengguna dengan aplikasi Smart Power Outlet dapat dengan mudah memantau penggunaan listriknya serta dapat mengendalikan peralatan elektroniknya dari jarak jauh.
