Profil Lemak dalam Serum dan Indeks Massa Tubuh pada Pasien Skin Tag

Abstract

Background: Skin tag is the most commonly found epithelial tumor which is a pedunculated, small tumour that may be caused by several factors. One of the causal factors is a high lipid profile (total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides) and a low level of HDL. Furthermore, an increased body mass index is also found on patients with skin tags. Objective: To determine lipid level in the serum and body mass index in patients with skin tags. Method and subjects: This study is a descriptive study with cross-sectional design to measure serum lipid level and body mass index profiles in patients with skin tags in the period of December 2013 – September 2014. Results: This study included 25 patients with skin tags which were measured ,found that high level total cholesterol (17 patient), LDL (12 patient), Triglycerides (16 patient), and low level HDL (15 patient) . Furthermore, an increased body mass index was found on patients with skin tags ( 16 patient) Conclusion: The results of this study found that there are high levels of total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides, and low level of HDL, also an increased body mass index in patients with skin tags.

Latar belakang : skin tag merupakan tumor epitel yang paling sering dijumpai merupakan suatu tumor berpedunkulasi, kecil dan dapat disebabkan beberapa faktor penyebab. Salah satu faktor pencetusnya adalah profil lemak yang tinggi ( kolesterol total, LDL, Trigliserida) dan kadar yang rendah HDL. Dan juga ditemukan peningkatan massa indeks tubuh pada pasien skin tag. Tujuan : untuk menentukan kadar lemak dalam serum dan indeks massa tubuh pada pasien skin tag Metode dan subjek : suatu penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan potong lintang untuk mengukur profil kadar lemak dalam serum dan massa indeks tubuh pada pasien skin tag mulai Desember 2013- September 2014 Hasil : penelitian ini terdiri dari 25 orang pasien skin tag yang diukur kadar kolesterol total, ditemukan peningkatan total kolesterol (17 pasien) ,LDL (12 pasien), Trigliserida (16 pasien) dan penurunan HDL ( 15 pasien). Dan juga ditemukan peningkatan indeks massa tubuh pada pasien skin tag (16 pasien) Kesimpulan : hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan adanya kadar total kolesterol yang tinggi, LDL, Trigliserida dan kadar HDL yang rendah dan peningkatan indeks massa tubuh pada pasien skin tag
