dc.description.abstractThe water vapour filter based on natural pahae zeolite has been succesfully manufactured by pouring the zeolit powder in 6 % H2SO4 solution and followed by heating it at 7000C, 8000C, and 9000C respectively. To improve the water vapour filter absorbility of zeolite, rind cocoa was used as filler. Whole to increase the chemical bonding between the matrik and filler, the clay was mixed with zeolite and rind cocoa. In this case, water vapour filtered come from an electrolysis process. The filter based on zeolite+rind cocoa+clay has highest porosity percentage when activated at 7000C. The best hardness has been shown by the filter based on zeolite+clay when activated at 9000C. The SEM results showed that the filter based on zeolite and zeolite+rind cocoa+clay have same topography whole EDX result showed that this water vapour filter is intermediate zeolite. The best adsorption capacity and life time have been shown filter based on zeolite+rind cocoa+clay when activated at 7000C.en_US
dc.description.abstractFilter uap air berbasis zeolit alam pahae telah berhasil dibuat dengan menuangkan serbuk zeolit alam pahae ke dalam larutan 6% H2SO4 dan diikuti dengan pemanasan 7000C, 8000C, and 9000C. Untuk meningkatkan adsorpsi filter uap air zeolit, kulit kakao digunakan sebagai filler. Untuk memperkuat ikatan antara matrik dan filler, clay dicampurkan dengan zeolit dan kulit kakao. Ini menyebabkan, uap air yang berasal dari proses elektrolisa dapat difilter. Filter berbasis zeolit+kulit kakao+clay memiliki persentase porositas tertinggi ketika diaktivasi pada suhu 7000C . Sifat kekerasan terbaik diperlihatkan filter berbasis zeolit+clay yang diaktivasi pada suhu 9000C. Hasil SEM-EDX menunjukkan filter berbasis zeolit dan filter berbasis zeolit+kulit kakao+clay memiliki topografi yang sama dan filter uap air ini termasuk kedalam golongan zeolit silika sedang. Uji adsorpsi dan life time terbaik diperlihatkan pada filter berbasis zeolit+kulit kakao+clay yang diaktivasi pada suhu 7000C.en_US
