dc.description.abstractThe Problem of nutrition in Indonesia is still a big problem in the field of Health. The status of nutrition and health is one of the main factors which are very decisive in improving the quality of human resources as the target of development in Indonesia. Up to now, the effort done by the government to overcome the problem of nutrition is the implementation of community nutrition improvement program through health institution. At the level of Puskesmas (community health center) this program is managed by nutrition personnel Conducted in the district of Aceh Tenggara, this study aims at examining the relationship between the factors of Effort, Ability and Role Perception with the performance of nutrition personnel As an analytic and descriptive study employing the cross-sectional approach and Pearson correlation analysis, the sample for this study consist of 26 nutrition personnel TPG). The variables studied include Effort (planning, implementation and evaluation of activities), Ability (knowledge and skills) and Role Perception (perception of planning, implementation and evaluation) and the performance of nutrition personnel’s (TPG). This study reveals that 38,5 % of the respondents have shown good performance and the others 61,5 % have shown poor performance. The relationship between the variables of planning (r=0,754), implementation (r=0,632) and evaluation (r=0,672) and the performance of nutrition personnel is significantly strong. The relationship between the variables of knowledge (r=0,838), and skills (r=0,763) and the performance of nutrition personnel’s is significantly very strong. The relationship between perception of planning (r=0,675), perception of implementation (r=0,517) and the performance of nutrition personnel is significantly strong, while the relationship between perception of evaluation (r=0,462) and the performance of nutrition personnel’s is significantly weak. To improve the performance of nutrient personnel it is suggested that various Effort should be done such as organizing a special training on planning, implementation and evaluation of nutrition program; the nutrition must know and understanding their job and duty and the supervision and development activities for the nutrition personals should be improved.en_US
dc.description.abstractMasalah gizi di Indonesia masih merupakan masalah besar dalam bidang kesehatan. Sementara status gizi dan kesehatan merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang sangat menentukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumberdaya manusia yang menjadi tujuan pembangun Indonesia Sampai saat ini upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah untuk mengatasi masalah gizi adalah dengan melaksanakan program-program perbaikan gizi masyarakat melalui instansi kesehatan. Di tingkat puskesmas program ini dikelola oleh tenaga pelaksana gizi (TPG). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara, yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor effort, ability dan role perception dengan Kinerja TPG. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study yang menggunakan analisa korelasi pearson dengan sampel berjumlah 26 orang TPG. Variabel yang diteliti adalah Effort (meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan), Ability (meliputi: pengetahuan dan keterampilan) dan Role Perception (meliputi: persepsi perencanaan, persepsi pelaksanaan dan persepsi evaluasi) dan Kinerja TPG. Variabel perencanaan hubungannya kuat (r=0,707) dan bermakna, variable pelaksanaan hubungannya lemah (r=0,396) dan bermakna, variabel evaluasi hubungannya kuat (r=0,536) dan bermakna, pengetahuan hubungannya kuat (r=0,658) dan bermakna, keterampilan hubungannya sangat kuat (r=0,538) dan bermakna, persepsi perencanaan hubungannya kuat (r=0,597) dan bermakna, persepsi pelaksanaan hubungannya lemah (r=0,452) dan bermakna dan persepsi evaluasi hubungannya lemah (r=0,378) dan tidak bermakna, Untuk meningkatkan kinerja TPG disarankan berbagai upaya yaitu dengan pelatihan khusus perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program gizi, TPG harus mengetahui dan memahami tugas dan fungsinya, serta meningkatkan supervisi dan pembinaan TPG.en_US
