    Abstract
    The increasing development of communication system and the relatively increasing development of tower construction are not usually followed by the data of potential lightning locations which actually need to save all equipment systems. In this thesis, super resolution was used to obtain magnifying radar image by applying Markov Network model in the training set formed by cloud image so that the intensity of cloud density which contains lightning can be obtained. Training set is formed by patch in the processes of cloud image footage. The reconstruction of the super resolution radar image is one of the techniques in the process of radar image in order to increase the quality of cloud image which contains lightning and to obtain the data of lightning intensity in certain areas within weather radar catchment areas. The process of selecting the best patch of training set can be reduced by using PCA (Principle Component Analysis) method which expedites the process in training set.
     
    Peningkatan pembangunan sistem komunikasi dan pengembangan pembangunan tower yang relatif meningkat, sering kurang dibarengi dengan data-data lokasi potensi petir yang pada dasarnya sangat dibutuhkan untuk menyelamatkan semua sistem peralatan yang dipergunakan. Dalam tesis ini super resolution dipakai untuk memperoleh citra radar perbesaran dengan mengaplikasikan model Markov Network pada training set yang dibentuk dari citra awan serta dapat memperoleh intensitas kepadatan awan yang mengandung petir. Training set dibentuk dari patch dengan proses cuplikan citra awan, rekonstruksi citra radar super resolution merupakan salah satu cara dalam proses pengolahan citra radar guna meningkatkan kualitas citra awan yang mengandung petir serta dapat memperoleh data intensitas petir pada daerah tertentu dalam kawasan tangkapan radar cuaca. Proses pemilihan patch terbaik dari training set dapat direduksi menggunakan metode PCA (Principle Component analysis) yang memacu prosess pada training set lebih cepat.
