    Pengaruh Program Adiwiyata terhadap Kognitif Afektif dan Psikomotorik Lingkungan Hidup Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Kota Medan (Studi Kasus di SD Swasta Pertiwi dan SD Negeri 060843 Kec. Medan Barat)

    Abstract
    The lack of public awareness has caused the environment to be worse and worse. The potential effort which can increase public awareness is by implementing environmental education. Education will be easily understood and comprehended if it is started from the elementary school. Adiwiyata is the government s program which is aimed to make a school as an environmental culture. The aim of the research is to know the influence of Adiwiyata program on the cognitive, affective, and psychomotoric environment of the students of the elementary schools by comparing the cognitive, affective, and psychomotoric environment of the students of Adiwiyata elementary schools with the students of the elemnentary schools which do not follow the Adiwiyata program at Medan Barat Subdistrict, Medan. The research was conducted from March 3 until April 19, 2012 by distributing questionnaires and conducting in-depth interviews with the respondents that comprised of the sixth grade students (72 students from Adiwiyata schools and 64 students from non-Adiwiyata schools), teachers (11 teachers from Adiwiyata schools and eight teachers from non-Adiwiyata schools), employees (five employees from Adiwiyata schools and two employees from non- Adiwiyata schools), school principals and head of UPT Tk/SD of the Education Service, Medan Barat Subdistrict. The data were then processed and analyzed, and the conclusion was that knowledge (cognitive), attitude (affective), and skill (psychomotoric) of the sixth grade students of Adiwiyata schools were higher than the students of non-Adiwiyata schools, and there was positive influence of Adiwiyata program on the students cognitive, affective, and psychomotoric environment.     Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat menyebabkan kondisi lingkungan semakin hari semakin rusak. Upaya potensial yang dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat adalah dengan menerapkan pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Pendidikan akan lebih mudah dimengerti dan dipahami jika dimulai dari sekolah dasar. Adiwiyata adalah program Pemerintah untuk menciptakan sekolah berbudaya lingkungan. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program Adiwiyata terhadap kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik lingkungan hidup siswa Sekolah Dasar dengan membandingkan kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik lingkungan hidup siswa Sekolah Dasar Adiwiyata dan Sekolah Dasar belum Adiwiyata di Kecamatan Medan Barat Kota Medan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Tanggal 3 Maret sampai dengan 19 April 2012, yang dilakukan dengan memberikan kuisioner dan wawancara langsung kepada responden yang terdiri dari, siswa kelas VI (sekolah Adiwiyata 72 siswa dan sekolah belum Adiwiyata 64 siswa), guru (sekolah Adiwiyata 11 guru dan sekolah belum Adiwiyata 8 guru, pegawai (sekolah Adiwiyata 5 pegawai dan sekolah belum Adiwiyata 2 pegawai), Kepala Sekolah dan Kepala UPT Tk/SD Dinas Pendidikan Kecamatan Medan Barat. Kemudian data diolah dan dianalis, sehingga didapat kesimpulan pengetahuan (kognitif), sikap (afektif) dan keterampilan (pisikomotorik) lingkungan hidup siswa kelas VI Sekolah Adiwiyata lebih tinggi dibanding Sekolah belum Adiwiyata dan ada pengaruh positif progam Adiwiyata terhadap kognitif, afektif dan pisikomotorik lingkungan hidup siswa.
