    Algoritma Gronsfeld Cipher dan Algoritma Rabin sebagai Hybrid Cryptosystem dalam Pengamanan Dokumen PDF

    Abstract
    Message security in the process of sending information is an important thing to pay attention to. This is due to frequent data leaks and misuse by irresponsible parties, especially if the messages sent are confidential. Therefore, a technique is needed to maintain the confidentiality of a message known as cryptography. Based on the key, cryptography is divided into two parts, namely symmetric cryptography and asymmetric cryptography. In this study, a Hybrid Cryptosystem was performed using Gronsfeld symmetric Algorithm and Rabin asymmetric Algorithm. The Gronsfeld cipher algorithm is used for the encryption and decryption processes of files, while the Rabin algorithm is used for the encryption and decryption processes of key. System testing is performed in the pdf file. This study concludes that the results of this study indicate that the encryption and decryption process time of the Gronsfeld cipher and Rabin algorithm is directly proportional to the number of characters. Furthermore, for the decryption process of the Gronsfeld algorithm and the Rabin algorithm it takes longer than the encryption process. In the encryption and decryption process, the results of plainkey and ciphertext do not change.
     
    Keamanan pesan dalam proses pengiriman informasi menjadi hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan. Hal ini dikarenakan sering terjadinya kebocoran data dan disalahgunakan oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab, terutama jika pesan yang dikirim bersifat rahasia. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan teknik untuk menjaga kerahasiaan suatu pesan yang dikenal dengan istilah kriptografi. Berdasarkan kuncinya, kriptografi terbagi atas dua bagian, yaitu kriptografi simetris dan kriptografi asimetris. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan Hybrid Cryptosystem dengan menggunakan Algoritma simetris Gronsfeld cipher dan Algoritma Asimetris Rabin. Algoritma Gronsfeld cipher digunakan untuk proses enkripsi dan dekripsi file sedangkan algoritma Rabin digunakan untuk proses enkripsi dan dekripsi kunci. Pengujian sistem dilakukan pada file berekstensi pdf. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa waktu proses enkripsi dan dekripsi hybrid cryptosystem algoritma Gronsfeld cipher dan Rabin berbanding lurus dengan jumlah karakter, Selanjutnya untuk proses dekripsi algoritma Gronsfeld dan algoritma Rabin memerlukan waktu lebih lama dibandingkan proses enkripsi. Pada proses enkripsi dan dekripsi hasil dari plainkey dan ciphertext tidak berubah.
