    Abstract
    Productivity can be realized through labor productivity. Labor productivity can be increased through improved labor competency, motivation, work climate, equipment, work methods, and job satisfaction. The importance of the increase in labor productivity is also required by the PT. XYZ which produces mineral water and soft drinks in packaging to be marketed in Northern Sumatra Region. PT. XYZ having problems that labor productivity tends to decrease so that the research was conducted to determine the variables that affect labor productivity. The results of path analysis showed that variables of work motivation (p = 0,348) and work climate (p = 0,269) had a significant impact on job satisfaction. The variables of labor competency (p = 0,255), motivation (p = 0,349), work climate (p = 0,271), and job satisfaction (p = 0,163) had a significant impact on labor productivity. Variable of equipment and work method had a correlation but did not have significant affect on labor productivity. Based on the result of path analysis and descriptive, to increase labor productivity to do with the human resources empowerment strategy through the programs to improve labor participation, and performance management strategy. The strategies of performance management includes performance appraisal talent-based human resource management, carrier path planning, performance-based compensation management (productivity). The Strategy of human resource empowerment and performance management strategy is expected to be able to overcome the factors affecting the decreasing labor productivity.     Produktivitas perusahaan dapat diwujudkan melalui peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Produktivitas tenaga kerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan kompetensi tenaga kerja, motivasi kerja, iklim kerja, peralatan, metode kerja, dan kepuasan kerja. Pentingnya peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja juga dibutuhkan oleh PT. XYZ yang memproduksi air mineral dan minuman ringan dalam kemasan untuk dipasarkan di wilayah Sumatera Bagian Utara. PT. XYZ mengalami permasalahan produktivitas tenaga kerja yang cenderung mengalami penurunan sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi produktivitas tenaga kerja. Hasil yang diperoleh dengan analisis jalur, variabel motivasi kerja (p = 0,348) dan iklim kerja (p = 0,269) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Variabel kompetensi tenaga kerja (p = 0,255), motivasi (p = 0,349), iklim kerja (p = 0,271), dan kepuasan kerja (p = 0,163) memiliki hubungan langsung terhadap produktivitas kerja. Variabel peralatan dan metode kerja memiliki hubungan korelasi namun tidak signifikan mempengaruhi produktivitas tenaga kerja. Berdasarkan analisis jalur dan deskriptif, untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tenaga kerja dapat dilakukan dengan strategi pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia melalui program peningkatan partisipasi tenaga kerja, dan strategi pengelolaan kinerja. Strategi pengelolaan kinerja meliputi penilaian kinerja karyawan, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia berbasis talenta, merencanakan carier path tenaga kerja, mengelola kompensasi berbasis kinerja (produktivitas). Strategi pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia dan strategi pengelolaan kinerja diharapkan mampu mengatasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan produktivitas tenaga kerja.
