    Potensi Seed Bank Hutan Gunung Sinabung Jalur Pendakian Sigarang-Garang Pasca Letusan Tahun 2010

    Abstract
    Potential of seed bank in forest Sigarang-garang line after the eruption of Sinabung Mountain in 2010 has been studied from December 2012 to May 2013. Location research is purposive sampling with respect to topography and slope factor. Determination of soil sampling sites using the path method. At the observation point shots taken soil samples in accordance with the conditions and altitude study sites were divided into 8 points based on the height, then the height of each soil sample taken randomly repeated 5 times using a metal box measuring 25 x 25 cm depth: (i) 0-5 cm, (ii) 5-10 cm, (iii) 10-15 cm. Data were analyzed using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial. Then results of the research obtained from 17 families with a number of 26 species of plants consisting of 16 species of plants and 10 species of ground cover. Number of germinated seeds was highest at a depth of 0-5 cm. Important Index Value for any type of seeds at altitudes ranging between 2.143% - 98.273%. Diversity index was highest at an altitude of 1700-1800 mdpl while the uniformity index is highest at an altitude of 1700-1800 mdpl. Similarity Index value is highest between altitudes of 2300-2400 mdpl at 2400-2450 mdpl that is equal to 75.00%.
     
    Potensi seed bank hutan jalur pendakian Sigarang-garang Gunung Sinabung pasca letusan tahun 2010 telah diteliti dari bulan Desember 2012 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2013. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan memperhatikan faktor topografi dan kemiringan. Penentuan lokasi pengambilan sampel tanah menggunakan metode jalur. Pada jalur pengamatan diambil cuplikan sampel tanah sesuai dengan kondisi dan ketinggian lokasi penelitian yang dibagi menjadi 8 titik berdasarkan ketinggian, kemudian masing-masing ketinggian diambil sampel tanah secara random sebanyak 5 kali ulangan dengan menggunakan kotak besi berukuran 25 x 25 cm sedalam: (i) 0-5 cm, (ii) 5-10 cm, (iii) 10-15 cm. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial. Kemudian dari hasil Penelitian didapatkan 17 famili dengan jumlah 26 jenis tumbuhan yang terdiri dari 16 jenis tumbuhan bawah dan 10 jenis pohon. Jumlah biji yang berkecambah tertinggi terdapat pada kedalaman 0-5 cm. Indeks Nilai Penting untuk jenis kecambah pada setiap ketinggian tempat berkisar antara 2,143 % - 98,273 %. Indeks Keanekaragaman tertinggi terdapat pada ketinggian 1700-1800 mdpl sedangkan Indeks Keseragaman tertinggi terdapat pada ketinggian 1700-1800 mdpl. Nilai Indeks Similaritas tertinggi terdapat antara ketinggian 2300-2400 mdpl dengan 2400-2450 mdpl yaitu sebesar 75,00 %.
