    Karakterisasi Rugi-Rugi Lintasan Gelombang Radio di Atas Permukaan Laut pada Jaringan 4G 900 MHz

    Abstract
    Saat ini, penggunaan perangkat komunikasi bergerak telah menjadi kebutuhan pokok, salah satunya di lingkungan maritim. Komunikasi di lingkungan maritim berbeda dengan di lingkugan darat karena sifat unik nya permukaan laut yaitu adanya evaporation duct. Level daya gelombang radio yang memadai sangat diperlukan untuk menjamin kelancaran proses komunikasi. Selama proses propagasi, level daya gelombang radio mengalami penurunan. Hal itu disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti jarak, temperatur, frekuensi dan berbagai penghalang yang berada diantara antena pemancar dan antena penerima. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan sebuah model propagasi gelombang radio yang dapat memprediksi daya gelombang radio yang hilang selama proses propagasi di atas permukaan laut. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk menganalisis rugi-rugi lintasan gelombang radio di atas permukaan laut pada penyeberangan kapal dari Merak Banten menuju Bakauheni Lampung dengan dua kali pengukuran yaitu siang dan malam hari. Model propagasi yang digunakan adalah Model Okumura-Hata, ITU-R Recommendation P.1546-5, free space loss dan Two ray reflection. Frekuensi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 900 MHz pada jaringan 4G. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rugi-rugi lintasan gelombang radio saat pengukuran siang hari lebih tinggi 4.01 dB dibandingkan dengan pengukuran saat malam hari karena adanya pengaruh penguapan air laut. Kemudian setelah dilakukan optimalisasi pada model yang mendekati hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa model ITU-R P.1546-5 yang paling layak digunakan pada lokasi penelitian baik pengukuran siang dan malam hari dengan penambahan faktor koreksi RMSE sebesar 9.97 dB.
     
    Currently, the mobile communication has become a basic need, one example is communication in the maritime environment. Communication in the maritime environment is different from that in the ground environment due to the unique nature of the marine environment, for example effect evaporation duct. Signal level of radio power is needed to ensure the communication process. During the propagation process, the signal level of the radio waves decreases. This is caused by several factors such as temperature, frequency and various obstructions between the distance transmit and receiving antena. Therefore, a radio wave propagation model is needed that can predict the radio wave lost during the propagation process above sea level. In this study to analyze pathloss radio wave propagation above sea level at the Merak Banten port to Bakauheni Lampung port with two condition, day and night. The propagation model used in this study is Okumura-Hata Model, ITU-R Recommendation P.1546-5, free space loss and Two ray reflections. The frequency used in this study is 900 MHz on the 4G network. From the results, it was found that the pathloss radio wave propagation during daytime measurements were 4.01 dB higher than compare at night due to effect evaporation. Then after optimization the model that is close to the results of the study, it was found that the ITU-R P.1546-5 model was the most suitable for use at the research location both day and night measurements with the addition of an RMSE correction factor of 9.97 dB.
