    Analisis Senyawa Isoprenoid pada Beberapa Progeni Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq) Berdasarkan Aktivitas Lipase Plasma Nutfah PT. Socfin Indonesia

    Abstract
    Tengku Siti Habsyah. 2021. “Analisis Keragaman Senyawa Isoprenoid Pada Beberapa Progeni Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) Berdasarkan Aktifitas Lipase Plasma Nutfah PT. Socfin Indonesia”, dibimbing oleh Prof. M.Basyuni, S.Hut, M.Si., Ph.D. dan Luthfi Aziz M. Siregar,S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola senyawa kimia dari golongan poliisoprenoid yang terdapat pada tanaman kelapa sawit berdasarkan aktiftas lipase plasma nutfah PT. Socfin Indonesia dan memperoleh penanda biokimia untuk menseleksi tanaman kelapa sawit berdasarkan aktivitas lipase. Penelitian dilakukan di 2 lokasi, yaitu pengambilan sampel dilakukan di PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Aek Loba Kabupaten Asahan, Sumatera Utara. Sementara untuk analisa biokimia dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Budidya Hutan Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan pada bulan Mei 2019 sampai Oktober 2020. Bagian daun dan mesokarp dari 45 progeni kelapa sawit dianalisis menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis dua dimensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panjang rantai karbon poliisoprenoid baik polyprenol maupun dolichol pada daun dan mesokarp bervariasi diantara progeni kelapa sawit PT. Socfin Indonesia. Panjang rantai karbon poliisoprenoid pada jaringan daun mampu membedakan antara famili yang memiliki aktivitas tinggi lipase yaitu SL- 5045, SL-7444, SL-6796, SL-7210 dan famili dengan aktivitas moderat lipase (SL-7507) berdasarkan rantai pendek poliprenol, sedangkan pada jaringan mesocarp tidak dapat membedakan aktivitas lipase.

Socfin Indonesia based on lipase activity”, supervised by Prof. M.Basyuni, S.Hut, M.Si., Ph.D. dan Luthfi Aziz M. Siregar,S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D. The objective of this research was to identify the pattern of chemical compounds from the polyisoprenoid group found in oil palm of PT. Socfin Indonesia based on lipase activity and obtained biochemical markers for selecting oil palm plants based on lipase activity. The research was conducted in 2 locations, namely sampling was conducted at PT. Socfin Indonesia Aek Loba Plantation, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. Meanwhile, biochemical analysis was carried out at the Forest Cultivation Laboratory of the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan from May 2019 to October 2020. The leaf and mesocarp parts of 45 oil palm progeny were analyzed using two-dimensional thin layer chromatography. The results showed that the length of the polyisoprenoid carbon chain, both polyprenol and dolichol, in leaves and mesocarp varies between the oil palm progeny of PT. Socfin Indonesia. The length of the polyisoprenoid carbon chain in leaf tissue was able to distinguish between families that had high lipase activity, namely SL-5045, SL-7444, SL-6796, SL-7210 and families with moderate lipase activity (SL-7507) based on short-chain polyprenols, whereas in Mesocarp tissue cannot differentiate lipase activity.
