    Pembuatan dan Karakterisasi Batako Ringan dengan Memanfaatkan Sekam Padi sebagai Agregat untuk Bahan Kedap Suara

    Abstract
    A research on the manufacture of lightweight concrete brick is made from cement, sand and rice husk. The purpose of this study is utilization of rice husk as additional material for the manufacture of lightweight concrete brick soundproof. Variation of rice husk to sand ratio is 1:79, 2:78, 3:77, 4:76, and 5:75 (in% mass), and ageing time during the 28 days naturally. Parameters of test include: Density, water absorption, compressive strength, impact strength, hardness and sound damping power. After being ageing for 28 days was tested against the entire sample of brick with a density value of 1.49 to 1.78 gr/cm3; the water uptake value of 9.99% to 14.92%; value of compressive strength of 1.9 MPa - 6.47 MPa; impact force value from 633.99 to 1032.08 J/m2; the hardness 86 to 117 HVN, able to absorb sound at a frequency of 125, 250, 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz of about 1.0 % - 10.47%. Based on the density and compressive strength are included in the class structure of light brick.
     
    Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pembuatan batako ringan yang terbuat dari semen, pasir dan sekam padi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pemanfatan sekam padi sebagai bahan tambahan untuk pembuatan batako ringan kedap suara. Variasi rasio sekam padi terhadap pasir adalah 1:79; 2:78; 3:77, 4:76; dan 5:75 dalam % (massa), dan waktu pengerasan selama 28 hari secara alami. Parameter pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi: densitas, penyerapan air, kuat tekan, kuat impak, kekerasan dan daya redam suara. Setelah dilakukan pengerasan selama 28 hari dilakukan pengujian terhadap seluruh sampel batako dengan nilai densitas 1,49gr/cm3 - 1,78 gr/cm3; nilai serapan air 9,99% - 14,92%; nilai kuat tekan 1,9 MPa - 6,47 MPa; nilai kuat impak 633,99 J/m2 - 1032,08 J/m2; nilai kekerasan 86VHN - 117VHN, mampu menyerap suara pada frekuensi 125, 250, 500, 1000, dan 2000 Hz sekitar 1,0% - 10,47%. Berdasarkan densitas dan kuat tekan termasuk dalam golongan batako ringan struktur.
