Research on the growth of Cattleya sp. in acclimatization stage by planting media combined with variations in vitamin B1 concentrations has been carried out from August 2020 to November 2020 at the Department of Food Crop Agriculture and Horticulture, Johor Medan Building, North Sumatra. This study aims to obtain the best combination of growing media and vitamin B1 on the growth of Cattleya sp. being acclimatized. This study used a two-factor completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor five levels of vitamin B1 (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 mL / L) and the second factor five growth media, namely charcoal fern media (M0) (1: 1), charcoal cocopeat media (M1) (1: 1), coconut coir brick media (M2) (1: 1), charcoal coconut coir media (M3) (1: 1). The results showed that several combinations of growing media and vitamin B1 were significantly different for charcoal fern media, charcoal cocopeat media, coconut coir brick media, charcoal coconut coir media, except for the number of leaves and the number of roots. Live percentage of Cattleya sp. 100% live. The best plant growth was in the treatment of vitamin B1 4mL / L and planting media of wood charcoal and coconut coir with an average plant height of 5.20 cm, number of leaves 6.66, leaf area
4.60 cm, and number of roots 6.33 with within 12 weeks after planting.
