    Hubungan Kurvatura Kornea dan Panjang Sumbu Bola Mata pada Penderita Miopia Anak di Rsup H. Adam Malik Medan

    Abstract
    The length axis of the eye is one of the factor that determine a person's refractive status beside the curvature and strength of the corneal dioptre. In myopia, the axis of the eye is longer than normal and so is the strength of dioptre of corneal and it was said that the elongation of the axis is directy proportional to the degree of myopia. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship dioptre power of the cornea with a length axis of the eye in patients with myopia of children at Adam Malik Hospital. This research is observational analytic with total sampling method with total sample of 59 children with 118 eyes who came to the eye clinic of Pediatric Ophthalmology subdivision Adam Malik Hospital from March to May 2017. All children were assessed visual acuity and corrected and examined with slit lamp (Appasamy) to assess the anterior segment. Then calculated the average length of the axis of the eye, and the result is compared. The average curvature of the cornea and the length axis of the eye to the degree of myopia is curvature of the cornea with myopia mild 43.121 diopters ±0.722, myopia was 43, 887 diopters ±0.807, myopia weight of 44.400 diopters ±0.823 and the long axis of the eyeball with the degree of myopia is mild myopia 23.120 mm (SD 0.664 mm), myopia was 24.256 mm (SD 0.661 mm), severe myopia 25.038 mm (SD 0.762 mm).
     
    Panjang sumbu bola mata merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi status refraksi seseorang di samping kelengkungan dan kekuatan dioptri kornea. Pada miopia, sumbu bola mata lebih panjang dari normal dan begitu juga dengan besar kekuatan dioptri kornea dan dikatakan bahwa pemanjangan tersebut berbanding lurus dengan derajat miopia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kekuatan dioptri kornea dengan panjang sumbu bola mata pada penderita miopia anak di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. Penelitian ini bersifat observational analitik dengan metode total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 59 anak dengan 118 mata yang datang ke poliklinik mata sub divisi Pediatrik Ophthalmologi RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan mulai dari bulan Maret sampai Mei 2017. Setiap anak dinilai visus, lalu dikoreksi dan kemudian diperiksa dengan slit lamp (Appasamy) untuk menilai segmen anterior. Lalu dihitung rata-rata panjang sumbu bola mata, hasilnya dibandingkan. Rata-rata besar kurvatura kornea dan panjang sumbu bola mata dengan derajat miopia adalah besar kurvatura kornea dengan miopia ringan 43,121 Dioptri ±0,722, miopia sedang 43, 887 Dioptri ±0,807, miopia berat 44,400 Dioptri ±0,823 dan panjang sumbu bola mata dengan derajat miopia adalah miopia ringan 23,120 mm(SD 0,664 mm), miopia sedang 24,256 mm (SD 0,661 mm), miopia berat 25,038 mm (SD 0,762 mm).
