Pengaruh Kunjungan Wisatawan terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Masyarakat di Kecamatan Pandan dalam Rangka Pengembangan Wilayah Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah

Abstract

The aim of the research was to analyze the influence of tourists’ visit on the number of tourism facilities at Pandan Subdistrict, Central Tapanuli District, the influence of tourists’ visit on the PAD (Regional Budget) of Central Tapanuli District, and the influence of tourists’ visit on the income of the owners of tourism facilities (hotels, restaurants, and boats). The research was performed at Pandan Subdistrict by using 30 owners of the tourism facilities (the business people of hotels, restaurants, and boats) as the objects of the research and the respondents of the samples. The research used mean-pair disparity test, simple linear regression analysis, and descriptive analysis. The results of the research showed that the average number of tourists who used tourism facilities (hotels, restaurants, and boats) in 2011 was 2,336 visitors, and the average value of the number of visitors who used the tourism facilities hotels, restaurants, and boats) in 2009 was 2,174 visitors. These results showed the disparity of 162 visitors per year which indicated the increase of 7.45% from 2009. It was indicated that the tourists’ visit influenced the number of visitors who used the tourism facilities (hotels, restaurants, and boats) from 2009 to 2011 with the significance level of 0.05. The tourists’ visit had positive and significant influence on the Regional Budget in the tourism sector in Central Tapanuli District because of the increase of the contribution in the sectors of trade, hotel, and restaurant, as well as in the servicing sectors. The tourists’ visit also influenced the increase of the income of the owners of restaurants/food stalls, in which the average income in 2009 was Rp. 40,000,000 and in 2011 increased to Rp. 53,000,000. It indicated that there was the increase of the average income of the owners of restaurants Rp. 13,000,000 from 2009 to 2011. Keywords: Tourists’ Visit, People’s Income, PAD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kunjungan wisatawan terhadap jumlah pengunjung fasilitas wisata di Kecamatan Pandan Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah, menganalisis pengaruh kunjungan wisatawan terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah, dan menganalisis pengaruh kunjungan wisatawan terhadap pendapatan pemilik fasilitas wisata (Hotel, Restoran dan pemilik boat). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Pandan dengan mengambil objek penelitian pemilik fasilitas wisata (pelaku usaha hotel, restoran, dan boat) dengan mengambil sampel responden 30 orang. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis uji beda rata-rata berpasangan, analisis regresi linier sederhana, dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata jumlah pengunjung fasilitas wisata hotel, restoran dan boat pada tahun 2001 adalah sebanyak 2.336 orang dan nilai rata-rata jumlah pengunjung fasilitas wisata hotel, restoran dan boat pada tahun 2009 sebanyak 2.174 orang. Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan sebesar 162 orang per tahun atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7,45% dari Tahun 2009. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kunjungan wisatawan memberikan pengaruh terhadap jumlah pengunjung fasilitas wisata hotel, restauran dan boat pada tahun 2011 dan pada tahun 2009 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0.05. Kunjungan wisatawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah sektor pariwisata Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah, disebabkan adanya meningkatnya kontribusi sektor perdagangan, hotel, dan restoran, dan sektor jasa-jasa. Kunjungan wisatawan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pendapatan pemilik fasilitas wisata restoran/rumah makan. Dimana rata-rata pendapatan tahun 2009 sebesar Rp. 40.000.000, sedangkan pada tahun 2011 meningkat menjadi rata-rata pendapatan sebesar Rp. 53.000.000,-. Dari hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pendapatan pemilik restoran sebesar rata-rata Rp. 13.000.000 dari tahun 2009 ke tahun 2011.
