Analisis Lokasi Pendirian Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Pematangsiantar dalam Rangka Meraih Bonus Demografi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution of Vocational School (SMK) in the City Pematangsiantar; analyze the development of vocational high school (SMK) based on potential areas in the City Pematangsiantar and analyzing siting establishment Vocational School (SMK) in the City of Pematangsiantar.Metode research using descriptive analysis , analysis of the location quotient (LQ) and the analysis of gravity. The results of this study concluded that the number of units in the City SMK Pematangsiantar total of 36 units consisting of 3 SMK SMK and 33 private vocational schools, with an uneven spread is 4 units in District Siantar Marihat SMK; 4 units in District Siantar Marimbun SMK, 7 units vocational schools in the District of South Siantar, 7 units in District Siantar SMK West, 5 units of vocational schools in North Siantar District, 7 units in District Siantar SMK East., 1 unit in District Siantar Martoba vocational and vocational schools in District 1 unit Siantar Sitalasari. LQ analysis results show that the electricity, gas and water, construction sector, the trade, hotels and restaurants, transport and communications, financial and business services sector, and services sector is a sector that has strong economic base which is quite good and very effect on economic growth in the City of Pematangsiantar and prioritized based on the development potential of the area vocational sector basis. Determining the location of the establishment of vocational schools in the City of Pematangsiantar in order to achieve demographic bonus based on the analysis of the interaction or district has a value of gravity is low, the attraction Siantar Sitalasari District . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sebaran Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Pematangsiantar; menganalisis pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) berbasis potensi wilayah di Kota Pematangsiantar dan menganalisis penentuan lokasi pendirian Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Pematangsiantar.Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis location quotient (LQ) dan analisis gravitasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa jumlah unit SMK di Kota Pematangsiantar sebanyak 36 unit SMK yang terdiri dari 3 SMK Negeri dan 33 SMK Swasta, dengan tingkat penyebaran tidak merata yaitu 4 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Marihat; 4 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Marimbun, 7 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Selatan, 7 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Barat, 5 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Utara, 7 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Timur., 1 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Martoba, dan 1 unit SMK di Kecamatan Siantar Sitalasari. Hasil analisis LQ menunjukkan bahwa sektor listrik, gas dan air, sektor bangunan, sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran, sektor pengangkutan dan komunikasi, sektor keuangan dan jasa perusahaan, dan sektor jasa-jasa merupakan sektor basis yang memiliki kekuatan ekonomi yang cukup baik dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Pematangsiantar dan diprioritaskan dalam pengembangan SMK berbasis potensi wilayah sektor basis. Penentuan lokasi pendirian SMK di Kota Pematangsiantar dalam rangka meraih bonus demografi berdasarkan analisis interaksi atau gravitasi adalah kecamatan memiliki nilai daya tarik rendah yaitu Kecamatan Siantar Sitalasari.
