dc.description.abstract | A rectangular patch microstrip antenna is designed for dualband frequency
on communications base on cellular 1800 MHz and WLAN 2400 MHz. The optimal
configuration is obtained from using 2 units of 1 element antenna patch connected
with the T-junction multiple section corporate feed. Analysis and design is done with
theoretical calculation, simulation with microwave office AWR 2004, measurement of
the antenna fabrication as well as testing on wireless portable devices. The
achievement of the lower-band 1800 MHz obtained bandwidth parameters of 232
MHz with the improvement of voltage standing wave ratio or VSWR <1.82,
beamwidth 140o, gain 4.87 dB with return loss below -10 dB. Achievement of upperband
2400 MHz obtained bandwidth of 94 MHz with improvement of VSWR <1.68,
beamwidth 90o, gain 6.16 dB with return loss below -10 dB. The antennas are
directional in the direction of vertical linear polarization and optimum performance
operates in the frequency range 1670-1902 MHz for lower-band and 2400-2494 MHz
for upper-band. Thus, the antenna works well on device that work on dual-system
cellular 1800 MHz and WLAN 2400 MHz. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Suatu antena mikrostrip patch segi empat dirancang untuk frekuensi kerja
dualband pada komunikasi berbasis selular band 1800 MHz dan WLAN 2400 MHz.
Konfigurasi optimal diperoleh dari penggunaan 2 unit patch antena 1 elemen yang
dihubungkan dengan saluran pencatu T-junction multiple section. Perancangan dan
analisis dilakukan dengan perhitungan teoritis, simulasi dengan microwave office
AWR 2004, pengukuran hasil pabrikasi serta pengujian pada wireless portable device.
Capaian lower-band 1800 MHz diperoleh parameter bandwidth sebesar 232 MHz
dengan perbaikan voltage standing wave ratio atau VSWR < 1,82, beamwidth 140o,
gain 4,87 dB dengan return loss dibawah -10 dB. Capaian upper-band 2400 MHz
diperoleh bandwidth sebesar 94 MHz dengan perbaikan VSWR < 1,68, beamwidth
90o, gain 6,16 dB dengan return loss dibawah -10 dB. Antena bersifat directional
pada arah polarisasi linier vertical dan kinerja optimal beroperasi di daerah frekuensi
1670-1902 MHz untuk lower-band dan 2400-2494 MHz untuk upper-band.
Sehingga, antena dapat berfungsi dengan baik pada perangkat yang bekerja pada
dual-system LTE 1800 MHz dan WLAN 2400 MHz. | en_US |
