Analisis Pengaruh Industri Pengolahan Kayu terhadap Pengembangan Wilayah di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

This research was entitled the Analysis of the Influence of Industry of Wood To Regional Development in Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research aimed at analysing the influence of the production factor on the production of the processing industry of wood as well as to analyse the influence of the processing industry of wood on the development of the territory in the Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research method used the multiplied regression method with results of the research showing that the investment variable and the raw material were influential positive and significant towards the production of the processing industry of wood, whereas the manpower variable was not influential positive and significant. Afterwards the investment variable also was influential positive and significant towards the regional development, but the production variable did not give the influence that was positive and significant towards regional development. The results of the production that was not marketed in the area as well as the limitations of manpower human resources made the two variables did not give the influence on the regional development of the Serdang Bedagai Regency.

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Pengaruh Industri Pengolahan Kayu Terhadap Pengembangan Wilayah di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi terhadap produksi industri pengolahan kayu serta untuk menganalisis pengaruh industri pengolahan kayu terhadap pengembangan wilayah di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi berganda dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel investasi dan bahan baku berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi industri pengolahan kayu, sedangkan variabel tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Kemudian variabel investasi juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan wilayah, namun variabel produksi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan wilayah. Hasil produksi yang tidak dipasarkan di daerah serta keterbatasan SDM tenaga kerja menjadikan kedua variabel tersebut tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap pengembangan wilayah Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai.
