    Abstract

The research of diversity of terrestrial fern at the Natural Tourism Park of Deleng Lancuk has been carried out with in January to March 2008. The location of the research was determined by purposive sampling. The observation and collection of fern was done using quadratic method. The research was divided into five sections based on number of hills, hill I, II, III, IV and V in which all the five hills are located at the altitude ranging 1300 to 1600 above sea level. The observation area was of 1,125 Has (3 x 3 x 25 x 5 m). In each observed hill, 25 plots were made of 3 x 3 ms in size and the inter-plot spacing was of 25ms, therefore, the total plot was of 27 types of fern consisting of 13 families with the total 2.235 individual species. The species dominated the hills I, II,III and IV was selaginella wildenowii with the INP of 54.84%, 71.64%, 82.26% and 50.24%, respectively, whereas the species dominated the hill V was Cyathea bornensis with the INP of 77.52%.
