Estimasi Variansi dalam Sampling Multi Tahap

Abstract

Cost, effort and time often become an obstacle to the course of study. Sampling one of the solutions. Two-stage sampling is often used to estimate the total population, stratification at the second stage (Neyman, 1938, Rao, 1973) or second phase (Binder, et.al, 2000) and for the estimation of regression (S¨arndal, et.al, 1992, chapter 9, Hidiroglou and S¨arndal, 1998). Namun, varians estimator HT pada sampel fase umum dikenal sangat tidak stabil dan dapat menghasilkan nilai-nilai negatif ketika unit yang dipilih dengan probabilitas yang tidak sama. Pada sisi lain, varians estimator Sen-Yates-Grundy (SYG) relatif stabil dan non-negatif. Perluasan dari penarikan sampel dua tahap dapat dilanjutkan ke tahap tiga.
