    Sistem Monitoring Curah Hujan Menggunkan Tipping Bucket Rain Sensor Berbasis Internet of Things Nodemcu ESP8266

    Abstract
    Abstract. Rainfall is one of the rain parameters that can be measured. Rainfall shows how high the water level is caused by rain in an area. Rainfall gauge is used to measure the amount of rainfall that falls to the ground per unit area. The actual rainfall measured is the thickness or height of the rainwater surface that covers an area on the earth's surface. One of the rain gauge systems is the tipping bucket. The tipping bucket aims to get the amount of rainfall that falls in a certain period and time. The tipping bucket rain gauge has various funnel surface areas such as 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, and others. In this study the resolution of the tipping bucket used is 0.7 mm, and also uses a hall effect sensor. The hall effect sensor will be attached to the bottom of the tipping bucket funnel. The sensor will detect how many times the movement of the tipping bucket magnet occurs when rainfall enters the tipping bucket funnel. The microcontroller will read the data from the hall effect sensor and display the rainfall data on the LCD.
     
    Abstrak. Currah hujan merupakan salah satu parameter hujan yang dapat diukur. Curah hujan menunjukkan seberapa besar tinggi air yang ditimbulkan oleh hujan disuatu daerah. Penakar curah hujan digunakan untuk mengukur jumlah curah hujan yang turun ke permukaan tanah per satuan luas. Curah hujan yang diukur sebenarnya adalah tebalnnya atau tingginya permukaan air hujan hujan yang menutupi suatu daerah luasan di permukaan bumi. Salah satu sitem penakar hujan adalah tipping bucket. Tipping bucket bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jumlah curah hujan yang jatuh pada periode dan waktu tertentu.penakar hujan tipping bucket mempunyai luas permukaan corongnya yang beragam seperti 0,1 mm, 0,2 mm,dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini resolusi tipping bucket yang digunakan adalah 0,7 mm, dan juga menggunakan sensor efek hall. Sensor efek hall akan di tempelkan pada bagian bawah corong tipping bucket. Sensor akan mendeteksi berapa kali pergerakan yang terjadi pada magnet tipping bucket disaat curah hujan masuk kedalam corong tipping bucket. Mikrokontroler akan membaca data dari sensor efek hall dan menampilkan data curah hujan di LCD.
