Analisis Peran Sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restoran terhadap Perkembangan Wilayah Kota Medan

Abstract

Economic growth in the City of Medan during the period 2011 - 2013 shows significant deceleration. Economic growth in the City of Medan in 2011 amounted to 7.69%. In 2012 the economic growth of the City of Medan decreased to 7.63%, in 2013 declined to 4.30%. However, trade, hotels and restaurants grew from 8.67% in 2011 to 9.40% in 2013. The research was conducted in the city of Medan on the analysis of the role of trade, hotels and restaurants to the development region in the city of Medan. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The result showed that the effect of the sub sectors of trade, hotel and restaurant simultaneously and partially positive and significant effect on the rate of GDP growth in the city of Medan, except subsector hotel that does not have a significant effect. LQ calculation results of the concentration of seed trade, hotels and restaurants in the city of Medan is subdistrict of Medan Tuntungan concentrations of sub-sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants; Medan Johor with a concentration of sub-sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants; Medan Denai with a concentration of sub-sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants; Medan Area with concentrations of sub sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants; Medan Kota with a concentration of sub-sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants; Medan Maimun with a concentration of sub-sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants; Medan Petisah with a concentration of sub-sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants; Medan Perjuangan with concentration of trade and restaurants sub-sector; Medan Tembung with a concentration of trade and restaurants sub-sector and Medan Labuhan with a concentration of trade and restaurants sub-sector

Pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Medan selama periode 2011 – 2013 menunjukkan perlambatan yang berarti. Pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Medan pada tahun 2011 sebesar 7,69%. Pada tahun 2012 pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Medan menurun menjadi sebesar 7,63%, pada tahun 2013 kembali menurun menjadi 4,30 %. Namun sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran yang tumbuh dari 8,67% pada tahun 2011 menjadi 9,40% pada tahun 2013. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Medan tentang analisis peran sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran terhadap pengembangan wilayah Kota Medan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengaruh sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laju pertumbuhan PDRB Kota Medan, kecuali sub sektor hotel yang tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Hasil perhitungan LQ konsentrasi unggulan sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran di Kota Medan yaitu wilayah Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; Medan Johor dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; Medan Denai dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; Medan Area dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; Medan Kota dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; Medan Maimun dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; Medan Petisah dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; Medan Perjuangan dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan dan restoran; Medan Tembung dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan dan restoran dan Medan Labuhan dengan konsentrasi sub sektor perdagangan dan restoran.
